Hmmm, what a wonderful food fragrance touches my nose? I smell the warm sweetness of the potatoes and the spice smoked bacon. This mixture is refined, only just picked fresh alpine herbs and already on my plate! Appetite to get our Tyrolean Geröstl, or can it would rather be a freshly baked apple pie? The food on our mountain hut of Mahlknechthütte is very tasty and all meals are prepared with love.

There are four panelled Stuben in Hotel Pacher-Hof, one of which is the oldest in South Tyrol, that invite you to have pleasant parties or family celebrations. Whether it is for weddings, christenings, first communions, confirmations, mother’s day, birthdays or a cosy meal, Restaurant Pacherhof is waiting for you with its first-class, high-quality Tyrolean cuisine adapted to modern tastes. We choose the ingredients for our dishes with care; refine them with herbs and spices along with seasonal vegetables from our own garden. The Resciesa Alpine Hut has been newly build and this historical place for Val Gardena was reopened in winter 2010/2011. The hut lies 1,4 km (0.8 miles) west of the uphill station of the new funicular that takes you from downtown Ortisei to the mountains of Resciesa. You reach our hut after a 30 minutes walk on a flat, comfortable path. During the winter you can descend on sleds from the hut all the way to Ortisei. We offer typical dishes with an eye to local tradition. You can also stay for one or more nights: we have comfortable double rooms with private bathroom or shared rooms.

Tyrolean specialities and hospitality in our snack bar Guests are welcome to taste Tyrolean specialities and a delicous glas of wine after an exciting hiking tour in our sun garden or in the restaurant. Enjoy our homemade cakes and ice cream specialities in this comfortable atmosphere.

The alpine hut Planeil (Furgles Alm) is located at 2,203 meters above sea level and thereby has an excellent panoramic view. Leave behind the stressful everyday life and enjoy the almost untouched nature of the Planeil valley. You are welcome to relax on our sun terrace while tasting our food made from regional products. We place big value on fresh ingredients from the region and this is why we try to produce as much as possible ourselves. From mid-June our cows are back on the pasture and that is when we start the daily production of cheese, butter, yogurt, etc. Open from the beginning of June until the end of September.

Our hut is situated on the Alpe di Siusi in the middle of green mountain meadows rich of beautiful flowers. It ist he right spot for making a bread on your way up tot he Sciliar. Experience moments of pleasure with a wonderful view on Sas de Pütia in the restaurant - pizzeria Cristlà. The menu includes pizzas baked in a wood oven and dumplings, tasty antipasti and pasta dishes. Homemad, carefully prepared with fresh regional produce.

Enjoy Tyrolean dishes on our big sun terrace or in one of our three cosy traditional “Stuben”. A nice children’s playground is waiting for the kids.

The hut is also reachable by mountain bike or by car. In the evening on request.

The residence is a playful Early Renaissance building from the second half of the 16th Century. For several generations, the beautiful, romantic building has been private property and was changed into a bar and Törggele cellar. The residence consists of some oriel towers, a free-standing staircase with loggia, simple wooden ceilings and decorative frescoes. The entire residence reflects pride and beauty. Many years ago, it was protected from the road by a battlement wall.
