New: we will pick you up for free if you travel by public transportation system to Meran/Merano or Bozen/Bolzano! Our cottage "walnut tree" is very quiet and integrated in the middle of an old walnut tree. Our house is a complete timber construction, natural without gluing, of course built sustainably and realized as far as possible with local materials and from local craftsmen. All wood comes from a local farmer. The entire electrical system is built radiation-free, all furniture is made of solid wood from the carpenter and treated with natural oils. The house is surrounded by meadows on two sides and has a direct access to the nearby "Falschauer" creek. In the night you can watch from the balcony the deers grazing and with a bit of luck from the living room you can observe the squirrels jumping around on the balcony. The house is suitable for up to 6 people. Directly on the doorstep you can start with the hiking boots, because from here you can access several hiking trails.

The house has a living room with panoramic windows, two balconies and a covered terrace with mountain scenery. It is equipped with a kitchenette and from the Living room you can access the terrace and directly into the meadow. It has two separate double bedrooms and a pull-out couch is available in the living room. The house is built in typical solid wood construction, it will put you in a holiday mood. It has a bathroom with shower on the ground floor and a private toilet and sink in the (honeymoon)-suite upstairs. The house is also equipped with a woodburning stove, where you can enjoy the burning of the fire on cold winter days, while it is snowing outside.
Equipment: All furniture is made of solid wood, massive stone pine beds, high-quality mattresses, a solid wood kitchen with rich and high-quality dishes, bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are available. To avoid electrosmog, the electrical system is equipped with so-called "mains isolators" and all electrical cables are constructed with "shielded" cables. about 1 acre lot with meadow and forest, barbecue, campfire, firewood, walk to the nearby creek on our own property, children's toys, herb garden, beach chairs, and ... ...... birdsongs!!!

The gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle showcase the elegance of yesteryear, alongside the thermal baths and Belle Époque buildings. The valleys around Meran are full of paths, waterfalls and traditions, just waiting to be discovered. And if you love horses, a ride on a Haflinger is the way to go.
