Holidays in Algund/Lagundo

Enjoyable and active holidays in the garden village near Meran/Merano

Like something from an impressionist painting, the terraced vineyards and orchards of Algund have been dubbed the garden village . This region of carefully constructed cultivation and flowering plants forms the gateway to the spa town of Meran. Located between 320 and 1,360 m, holidays in Algund combine both simple pleasures and plenty of activity: Stay low to enjoy the Mediterranean flair of the valley as well as the village’s proximity to Meran, or hike or take the cable car to ascend to new levels of holiday bliss. Though they differ in length and degree of difficultly, the almost flat Algund Waalweg Trail and the Meran High Mountain Trail are equally panoramic and impressive.
