Hut hike with Texel Group Nature Park view at a distance

From south to north: the Mediterrean vegetation meets high alpine mountain landscape.

In five to eight daily stages, experienced and sure-footed mountaineers hike the 100 km of the Texel Group Nature Park. Mind-blowing views of Meran/Merano region's mountain landscape, the Vinschgau Valley and -on a clear day- of the Dolomites and Ortler massif. The southern section leads through the Mediterrean vegetation, whereas the northern section will gift you with a high alpine mountain landscape. On the Merano High Mountain Trail ascent and descent you'll have a wide range of possibilities- which allow you to start the hike from different places or to descend to the valley.

Some stages are also suitable as day tours. The ascent and descent are easily accessible by cable cars and public transport. There are some trail sections which require sure-footedness, alertness and no acrophobia. In exposed places, chains ropes and railings are at your disposal for safety reasons.
