Community Guidelines

Please ensure polite and respectful communication within our community. Remain constructive and open to different perspectives. Together, we want to create a positive environment where valuable contributions and information sharing have priority.

In the interest of maintaining trusting and positive communication within our community, violations of the Community Guidelines will be strictly pursued. In the event of a violation of our guidelines, the comment in question will be hidden, deleted or the author blocked and reported in order to provide a respectful and positive environment for all members. We strive for harmony and to prioritise the valuable contributions of our community

Do

Express your concerns to other users, people mentioned in articles and our employees in the way you would like to read them yourself.  Accept opinions that may differ from your own and always be respectful of other community members. South Tyrol stands for fair cooperation and dialogue at eye level.

Don‘t

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, abuse, hate speech and insults, this includes racism, homophobia, sexism, anti-semitism, condemnation based on group membership and incitement to violence, as well as death threats. 

Do

We welcome objective and constructive criticism, as long as it is expressed in a respectful manner. Provide evidence and support for your criticisms with comprehensible reasons and trustworthy sources. Pay attention to the quality of these sources and critically question them.

Don‘t

Do not spread misinformation and avoid insinuations, suspicions and unverifiable allegations. 

Do

When posting, follow the guidelines of the respective platforms, as well as laws and legal regulations. This also includes respecting copyrights. Only post content that belongs to you or that you are allowed to use.

Don‘t

In particular, refrain from disrespectful statements and those that fall under defamation, libel, slander, credit damage or incitement. Sharing links to illegal content will not be tolerated. You are responsible for your postings and can be held accountable for them.
