When we talk about sustainability, we Ladin people use terms like "Amur" (Love), "Teritore" (Territory), "Insegnamënt" (Education), "Respet" (Respect), and "Ambiënt" (Environment). These are words that don't just need translation, but rather actions, even small and concrete ones. From this deep sense of responsibility, ATIRA is born: a series of meetings and excursions that take place every Monday on our mountains, designed to raise awareness among residents and visitors about crucial issues for maintaining sustainable territorial development and important for the community. With ATIRA, you become a guardian of the Dolomites: guided by our experts, you'll learn not only fascinating facts about the mountains but also how to actively contribute to the protection of our territory. It's an opportunity to connect with nature, the Dolomite nature, which is everyone's heritage and thus requires everyone's respect.
With Roland, a forest guide, discover the effects of the bark beetle's impact on forests, immersing yourself in biodiversity and the importance of forest health.
