An unforgettable experience for the whole family: the Dolomiti Ranger program allows parents and children between 7 and 12 years to discover, in a fun and exciting way, the mysterious world of animals and plants of the Dolomites int the Puez-Geisler Nature Park. Led by experts, the young rangers explore on two adventure days a week the surrounding nature of the Puez-Geisler Nature Park.
Module 1: The discovery of the kingdom of the flora and fauna of the Dolomites
How can you measure the height of a tree without daring climbing? How do aquatic animals give us information about water quality? Together with experienced nature park rangers, the whole family discovers the world of Alpine animals and plants.
Target group: parents with children from 7 to 12 years
Meeting point: UNESCO Info Point, Zans
Time: 9.30 am - 12.30 pm every Tuesday
Path length: approx. 2km

Module 2: A magical night hike - discover nature by soft evening light
Immerse yourself in the magical world of the night and learn exciting facts about the nocturnal activities of plants and animals. Which animals come to life in the dark? How do they find their way in the darkness? On an evening walk around St. Magdalena, children and adults sharpen their senses and experience the mysterious beauty of nature in the soft light of the evening. Join us on an adventurous journey and discover the hidden treasures of the night.
Target group: parents with children from 7 to 12 years
Meeting point: in front of the entrance of the Nature Park Visitor Center, St. Magdalena

Getting to the starting point of the tour is easy and convenient.
By bus from Klausen/Chiusa or Brixen/Bressanone through Villnöss/Funes valley. Online timetable search at www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/
By car:
Through the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco to Klausen/Chiusa turn into Villnöss/Funes valley.

Clothing & equipment: sturdy shoes, sun protection, warm sweater, rain protection, packed lunch, something to drink
In case of cancellation, a return of the participation fee is possible only if the cancellation is made before 12 noon of the previous day. If the cancellation is made by the participant after 12.00 noon, the costs are charged 100% to the participant. In case of no show no other offer can be made use of and no money will be refunded.
In case of cancellation by the organiser, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded (for example, if the minimum number of participants is not reached). The event must be paid in advance online or in one of the tourist offices. Payment on site is not possible.
