The trenches and caverns built in 1914, were intended to slow down or stop the advance of Italian troops. However, the trenches were never used for military purposes.
Embark on a journey through time with the “Teis Trenches Working Group” and discover impressive historical monuments!
Walking on the paths and trenches is at your own risk, good footwear is recommended.

Information office in Teis at the Mineral Museum
Getting to the starting point of the tour is easy and convenient. By bus from Klausen/Chiusa or Brixen/Bressanone through Villnöss/Funes valley to Teis (bus stop Teis). Online timetable search at www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/
By car:
Through the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco valley to Klausen/Chiusa turn into Villnöss/Funes valley and drive to Mittermühl. Turn left and continue to Teis. Car park at the entrance to the village.

In case of cancellation, a return of the participation fee is possible only if the cancellation is made before 12 noon of the previous day. If the cancellation is made by the participant after 12.00 noon, the costs are charged 100% to the participant. In case of no show no other offer can be made use of and no money will be refunded.
In case of cancellation by the organiser, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded (for example, if the minimum number of participants is not reached).
