Guided snowshoe hike along Rasciesa/Raschötz

Demanding tour for experienced snowshoe hikers only! Prerequisite: a good physical condition

Start hiking bus from St. Magdalena at 9.00 am / St. Peter 9.05 am / Mittermühl 9.15 am / Teis 9.20 am to Val Gardena-St. Ulrich. From there with the funicular to the Raschötz.
Snowshoe tour along the crest of Raschötz in direction Brogles to the hut Geisleralm.
Stopover at the hut followed by a toboggan run down to St. Magdalena/Ranui. In alternative, hike down.
Return: approx. 4.00 pm
Itinerary data: 426 m (with summit 635 m) difference in altitude - 10,2 km - 4 h walking time
Difficulty: demanding
IMPORTANT: wearing a helmet is mandatory when sledding. Please make sure to bring a helmet.

Price guided tour incl. hiking bus: 40,00 € per person / with Slow Dolomites Card 10,00 € per person
Minimum age: 12 years

    Everything you need to know

    at the respective bus stop according to the reservation
    The Tourist Information Office will provide a bus. Departure from St. Magdalena/Ranui at 9.00 am. You can get on at any other bus stop along the route. Reservation is required!
    within the day before 4.00 pm at the Tourist Information Office or online
    Bring snowshoes and hiking sticks for the hike. On request the snowhoes can be rented free of charge and are supplied by our partner Tubbs Snowshoes.
    Important: wearing a helmet is mandatory when sledding. Please make sure to bring a helmet.
    You may also want to pack a small snack and warm beverage for along the way.

    In case of cancellation, a return of the participation fee is possible only if the cancellation is made in writing before 12 noon of the previous day. If the cancellation is made by the participant after 12.00 noon, the costs are charged 100% to the participant. In case of no show no other offer can be made use of and no money will be refunded.
    In case of cancellation by the organiser, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded (for example, if the minimum number of participants is not reached).
    The event must be paid in advance online or in one of the tourist offices.
    Included: Ride by bus to Ortisei and hike accompanied by a hiking guide
    Not included: funicular railway to Raschötz, culinary stopover in the mountain hut and toboggan hire
