An exclusive spring treat awaits pleasure-lovers on 24 April, when Goyen Castle, unusually, opens the gates to its medieval courtyard. Accompanied by lively music, nibbles and sparkling beverages, on this special morning mouths will water and no heart will be left untouched.

"Green events" are events that are planned, organised and implemented according to environmentally friendly criteria. Regional value creation, resource efficiency, waste management, mobility and social responsibility are the key factors.

    Goyen Castle
    Arrival by bus
    The event is easily accessible by several bus lines:
    Lines 231, 232 to the Lido stop – from there, the castle can be reached with a pleasant 20-minute walk.
    Line 233 to the Mühlhaus stop – from there, the castle is only a 10-minute walk away.

    Arrival by bicycle
    Bicycle parking is available directly in front of the castle.

    Arrival by car
    There are no parking spaces at the castle. Parking at the Lido in Schenna is limited. Therefore, we recommend arriving by bus or bicycle to avoid waiting times and the search for a parking spot – while also contributing to sustainability.
    Free shuttle service from 10.30 a.m. 2.15 p.m. from the car park of Lido Schenna (public outdoor pool) and from the bus stop (for lines 231 Meran-Schenna and line 232 Schenna-Bergbahn Meran 2000/Trauttmansdorff)
