At 8.50 am trip with minibus from St. Magdalena Ranui; 8.55 am St. Peter (possibility of getting on the bus at every bus stop) to the meeting point at the Eistil Boden car park below Russis Bridge.

Start at the meeting point at 9.20 am, towards Schatzerhütte following the path no. 9 through the Piskoierböden to the hut Halslhütte. Stopover at the hut on the sunny terrace and walk back to Russis Kreuz.
Return to the valley by minibus at about 3.00 pm.
Itinerary data: 455 m difference in altitude - 9 km - 3,5 h walking time.

    Everything you need to know

    Parking area Eistil Boden (below Russis Bridge)
    The Tourist Information Office will provide a taxi. Departure from St. Magdalena/Ranui at 08.50 am. You can get on at any other bus stop along the route. Reservation is required!

    By car:
    Through the Eisack/Isarco Valley to Klausen/Chiusa; turn into Villnöss/Funes valley and drive to St. Peter. Continue from there on the road in direction Würzjoch pass. At the bridge Russis turn left and follow the inidcation for Plose. Park on the right side of a left-hand turn.

    Bring snowshoes and hiking sticks for the hike. On request the snowhoes can be rented free of charge and are supplied by our partner Tubbs Snowshoes.
    You may also want to pack a small snack and warm beverage for along the way.

    In case of cancellation, a return of the participation fee is possible only if the cancellation is made in writing before 12 noon of the previous day. If the cancellation is made by the participant after 12.00 noon, the costs are charged 100% to the participant. In case of no show no other offer can be made use of and no money will be refunded.
    In case of cancellation by the organiser, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded (for example, if the minimum number of participants is not reached).
    The event must be paid in advance online or in one of the tourist offices.
    Included: Ride by bus to the starting point and hike accompanied by a hiking guide
    Not included: culinary stopover in the mountain hut
