Ansitz Layshof

This listed building lies at the heart of Obermais, bordering on meadows and vineyards and a few minutes' walk from the Old Town of Meran. Layshof makes the ideal base for excursions around Meran or for going on tours to discover the spa town's cultural variety. The house was renovated with lots of attention to detail and respect for the historical building materials. The vaulted cellar with romanesque walls, the large stately central hall with intricate stucco ceiling, terracotta floors and chimneys, as well as the baroque coffered ceiling make history tangible. The great care paid to little details such as the private sauna on the roof terrace, the 'secret chamber' above the arched gateway or the lift in the former latrine tower lend Layshof house and each of our flats its own character.
