A balance between tradition and design The mountain farm PacherGut in "Gegend" near Lana Our ancient Bacherhof – in our dialect called "Bochr" or "Boch" - is situated in "Gegend", a mountain fraction between Lana and the Ulten Valley. With great attention to detail and respect for the centuries-old rural architecture, we have carefully removed all the valuable substance and reintegrated it into the new solid wood house with climate house standard. in this way we were able to let the unique history of this small farmhouse live on and are looking forward to sharing this unique feeling with you. A farm with history Our PacherGut, first mentioned in 1777, has been home to many families over the centuries and has changed hands many times in the course of its history. In this way the completely run-down little mountain farmhouse was up for sale again in 2011. ​​By purchasing it, we fulfilled our long-awaited dream of owning our own mountain farm and set to work with great enthusiasm to restore everything and breathe new life into the PacherGut. In 2019 we demolished the completely dilapidated firehouse and rebuilt it. This not only created our new home, but also two spacious holiday apartments with a touch of the past.
