Our inn is an ideal starting point for biking, of many excursion paths, while the Hirzer cableway will take you from Saltaus to an altitude of 2000 meters in just a few minutes. There you can enjoy the varied alpine excursion paradise with its many alpine farms and country guesthouses. The Texel Group Natural Park offers plenty of excursion opportunities. You can reach the top from the valley on foot. But you can even choose one of the many roads and reach 1,500 m heights by car. From there the many paths will take you up to the mountain tops. Excursionists will find what they are looking for here.

About the region

Meran and environs region is full of surprising contrasts. In spring, you can ski in the morning on the Schnalstal glacier and cycle through apple orchards in the afternoon.
