Our family-run hotel is small, refreshingly original and creative. We enjoy the tranquility and the originality of our surroundings and live a good and relaxed atmosphere. Far away from hectic everyday life, you will find us on the sunny side of the still original Ulten Valley near Merano, in the idyllic village of St. Walburg at 1,150 meters above sea level. You enjoy our central, but quiet location amidst a breathtaking mountain backdrop with views to the end of the valley. After 3km you reach the ski- & hiking resort Schwemmalm with its magnificent views of the surrounding 3000 meters of the Ortler massif and into the Dolomites. In the summer you can recharge your batteries doing a variety of mountain and cycling tours in the Schwemmalm hiking area and at Stelvio National Park. The Ulten Valley stands for high pastures, shingle roofs, rustic hill farms and and an almost untouched idyll of natur. In winter, you will have much fun at the ski resort Schwemmalm with perfectly prepared and varied slopes - and all this without long waiting times at the lifts. Non-skiers can practise other winter sport activities like snowshoe and winter hiking, cross-country skiing, ice skating and tobogganing. Our kitchen team will pamper you with homemade delicacies from the alpine, mediterranean and vegetarian cuisine. You can "do something for your soul" in our wellness oasis and in the saltwater outdoor pool and whirlpool. Your little ones can let off steam to their heart’s content by the numerous cars. Indoors, the best play is to be had in our children’s playroom. The teenagers will have fun in the new teenie-club with video games and chill lounge.
