Apples, wine and asparagus on holiday along the South Tyrolean Wine Road
The wine village of Terlan, along with the neighbouring hamlets of Vilpian/Vilpiano and Siebeneich/Settequerce, sits in the middle of the Etschtal valley along the South Tyrolean Wine Road and is surrounded by vineyards and orchards. In addition to wine and apples, Terlan is best known for asparagus , which can be sampled on holiday during springtime in the local restaurants and inns. Hiking and strolling paths, for instance the Wine Trail in Terlan and cycling tours along the Etsch river, can be enjoyed year round. A walk to the Vilpian waterfall and the short walk to the Burg Neuhaus ruins are perfect for families.
