Dolomiti Superski

In the realm of the world’s most beautiful mountains winter sports enthusiasts embark on a journey of discovery on skis rather than simply going skiing. With a total of 1,200 km of downhill runs to choose from, all ‘skiable’ with a single ski pass, each day you can experience new and ever more stunning scenic descents. The association of 12 large ski resorts comprises 45 smaller, chocolate-box mountain villages ensuring that size must not necessarily mean an impersonal atmosphere.

Around 300 snow groomers keep the slopes in perfect conditions and 450 state-of-the-art lift systems eliminate ‘down time’, for example when skiing against the clock on the famous Sellaronda circuit, the heart of the Dolomiti Superski area, and in all adjoining ski resorts. There is plenty to offer snowboarders and skiers of all levels of ability. The area includes several world-famous runs, for example the Bellunese run which begins at the summit of the Marmolada, the Lagazuoi run, the Tognola Uno, the Gran Risa, the Olimpia on the Tofana, the Trametsch, the Silvester and other runs which skiers dream of.

The high mountain location of the ski slopes ranging from 4,920 ft/1,500 m to 10,500 ft/3,200 m and+A46 the 1,100 km of downhill pistes serviced by snowmaking equipment ensures abundant snow cover on almost 100% of runs. In addition, the sun shines on 8 out of 10 days. The combination of perfect snow conditions, plenty of sunshine, stunning views and ski runs ensures the most memorable winter sports holidays.

The Dolomiti Superski area encourages skiers to indulge their sport to excess, though in fact each skier with a Superski pass uses the same lift on average only 1.34 times per day. At the same time the Sella massif, the Rosengarten, the Civetta and Sassolungo/Langkofel mountains beckon with wonderfully scenic spots where the urge to stop and savour the scenery becomes irresistible.
