Every year on Rose Monday, the Kastelruth Riding Club organizes an extraordinary event together with the ski schools: Night Skijoring!
At this event, a ski instructor skis down the slope and is then pulled back up by a horse – all against the clock. Whoever has the best time and makes the fewest mistakes wins.Sounds crazy? It is - but in the best possible way!

    Road closure:
    Due to the event, O.-v.-Wolkenstein-Straße will be closed in the section from building number 15 (Gasthof Toni) to building number 49 (Garni Schönblick) at the following times:
    -1:00 PM–7:00 PM: closed to vehicular traffic
    (exception: scheduled buses, residents, and emergency vehicles)
    -7:05 PM–11:30 PM: total closure
    (only emergency vehicles allowed)
    The detour will be via Dolomiten.
