"Schuhplattler" Festival

Traditional Schuhplattler from all over South Tyrol create a great atmosphere at the various mountain huts. The focus here is on fun, entertainment and the love of tradition. Clapping, jumping and the traditional yell of joy are part of every typical Schuhplattler dance and tempt many to join in. Here’s where you’ll find them: Alpine hut Wasserfalleralm: Wipptoler Plattlgitschn Summit Mountain Club: Schuachplattlergitschn Vahrn Alpine hut Rinneralm: Schuhplattlergruppe Villnöss Rotating between huts: Schuhplattler Lajen (At the alpine hut Kalcheralm, the “Almtanz” event takes place – no Schuhplattler group there.) Enjoy infectious music, traditional dances, and delicious South Tyrolean alpine specialties. The huts are easily accessible by cable car – come on up and join the fun!
