Round, tasty, traditional! The dumpling is not a meal in South Tyrol, but a way of life. Part of everyday life, the dumpling is enjoyed here above all not as a side dish, but as a meal in itself. The annual dumpling festival in the village square of Kastelruth is an absolute highlight of the summer months. Immerse yourself in the variety of traditional South Tyrolean dumpling dishes, including cheese dumplings, spinach dumplings and bacon dumplings.     Everything you need to know

    The dumpling festival takes place in the village square. You can reach the village square from the Castelrotto bus station on foot in 5 minutes. The bus timetables can be found at the following link: www.silbernagl.it or www.sii.bz.it. By car: You can park in the parking lot (parking disc: 90 minutes) behind Hotel Schgaguler or in the underground car park Dorf (next to the Eurospar supermarket) or Zentrum (at the bus station).
    In case of thunderstorm or heavy rain the event will not take place.
