At the turn of the century, those who were in Meran for a curative stay enjoyed the "Meraner Kurtraube”, namely a grape therapy. Today you can immerse yourself in the elite world of wine at the popular Merano WineFestival, Kurhaus and other locations in Merano. The exclusive event has been held here since 1992 and is entirely centered on top wines.
During the festival, lasting several days, visitors can taste an exquisite selection of wines from different terroirs and meet over 900 producers from Italy and around the world. Talks, digital masterclasses, guided tastings and a digital show cooking with celebrity chefs will also be on the list.
