Our farm is located on a sunny slope and wonderful hiking trails start at the farm. Ratschings can look back on a 800-year tradition as a mining community. Since the Middle Ages, silver, zinc and lead have been mined in the region. The Ridnaun-Schneeberg mining museum tells the long history of mining in Ratschings. The holiday region is framed in the north by the huge peaks of the Stubai Alps. Dreamlike hiking trails and challenging climbing trails reach up to the summit of the mighty three thousand peaks.
