Hotel description
Suite 73 combines both souls of the city of Bozen, on the one hand you look at the Rosengarten with King Laurin's legend and the Sigmundskron Castle, which is so important for the recent history of South Tyrol and today houses the Mountain Museum of the mountaineer Reinhold Messner. But you can also see the monument to the victory built under fascism. The house itself dates back to 1906 and was once the seat of the bakers' guild, of which the pretzel on the roof gable still bears witness today. Inside are carefully revitalized apartments with old ceramic fireplaces and parquet floors. The combination of historical and modern elements make Suite 73 a sunny retreat in the center of Bolzano. The apartment is an ideal starting point to explore the city, at only 100 meters distance, you will find: the University of Bolzano, the Museum of Modern Art and the Archaeology Museum with the world famous glacier mummy Ötzi. In 5 minutes you can reach all the important sights of the provincial capital such as: Walther Square, Cathedral, Lauben with the Mercantile Museum and Fruit Market. Also under the monument of victory there is a very interesting museum about the fascist period in South Tyrol. The building is located directly on the Talfer meadows, the green lung of Bolzano. A walk with a stop at a café is always fun.
