Hotel description
The historic "Ansitz zum Löwen" an extraordinary and at the same time exclusive building in the village center of Burgusio/Burgeis directly across from the Romantik Hotel Weisses Kreuz . Built in the 13th Century , determined the listed facade for the past eight centuries the village image . The residence consists of 2 buildings, which lies to the west older gothic part , the so -called " Pfister house," and the newer , in the 16th century created Löwenwirt . The latter was built by members of the Chur Bischtums . The " Pfister House " is a classic example of Gothic architecture in the Val Venosta with narrow arched doors, central hallway , vaulted kitchen and the interior fittings of wood. Only in the 19th - 20th century Renaissance residence was rezoned and used as a guest house " Löwenwirt " . 2012 then began the careful renovation of the historic rooms and facilities and the conversion of the former stables and barn . There are nine spacious , exclusive and stylish suites created , a private gourmet shop and a small fine village bar. The comfort suites Castellin , the exclusive suites Fontauna and also the family suite Clava , with its historic name from the immediate surroundings are absolutely unique and perfect for connoisseurs who love to indulge in an exclusive break for two . In the past 5 suites the connoisseurs expect next original rooms of the Renaissance and Gothic fine designer furniture, natural wooden floors and luxurious bathrooms in elegant South Tyrolean PLIMA granite.
