A warm welcome from the Eisenstecken Family at Oberberghof, newly built in 2012. Our farm is located in the municipality of Eppan near St. Pauls, right along the South Tyrolean Wine Road – close to Bolzano, Lake Caldaro, and numerous excursion destinations. Guests particularly appreciate our biological swimming pool, the panoramic sunbathing lawn, the idyllic and quiet location, and the breathtaking panoramic view over the South Tyrolean Wine Road. And not to be forgotten: our warm hospitality is often praised!
Apartments
The holiday apartments are 35-45 m² in size and are ideal for 2 to 4 people. The holiday apartment “Schlern” (45m² for 2-4 people), which is on the ground floor, has a small garden, while the holiday apartment “Latemar” (45m² for 2-4 people), which is on the first floor, has a large terrace. The view from these two holiday apartments is breathtaking – over the vineyards of the South Tyrolean Wine Route to the Dolomites. And at your feet are our vineyards. Both holiday apartments have a covered parking space available.
The holiday apartment “Penegal” (35m² for 2 people), newly built in 2022, has a covered terrace with its own garden and a parking space directly next to the holiday apartment. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of Freudenstein Castle and the Mendelkamm ridge above.
Of course, you can also store your bicycles or sports equipment. Bedding, hand towels, and bath towels are provided free of charge. Our guests can also use a Miele washing machine and a Miele tumble dryer including detergent free of charge.
Our farm
Our farm stay has its own guest house with three holiday apartments. In our cosy and well-equipped apartments, your holiday becomes a pleasure.
The Oberberghof is located in Eppan-Berg, South Tyrol, surrounded by vineyards and with a panoramic view from the Rittner Horn over the Schlern massif to the Fiemme Valley Alps. The farm is very quiet and yet only about 1km from the wine villages of St. Paul and St. Michael (capital of the municipality of Appiano) away. Also, the capital of Bolzano is only about 10 km away and easily accessible by public transport.
Our farm was inaugurated in the spring of 2012 – it is a new building – and, in addition to our guesthouse with three holiday apartments, the agricultural building, and the residential house, it features a beautiful biological swimming pond, which is of course available to our guests free of charge.
About us
Currently, two generations live on the farm – the owner Simon with his girlfriend Astrid, his parents Sylvia and Peter, his sister Katrin, as well as the cats Freddy and Tiger, and the dog Loki. There is a separate area for our koi fish in our organic bathing pond.
We cultivate different apple and grape varieties. We offer our apples, apple juice, elderberry juice and jam from the farm’s own fruits for sale.
The Oberberghof was designed by Simon’s father, Dr. Arch. Peter Eisenstecken, and meets the standard of a KlimaHouse of category A. It was built in an environmentally friendly way. The farm is equipped with a photovoltaic system, which provides the entire property with its own electricity.. All materials have been carefully selected.
