The farm lies 4 km from the small village of Avigna/ Afing and 18 km from Bolzano/ Bozen’s city centre in the middle of nature. A bath in our Bio pond with a view on the Dolomites is a unique experience. Around the farm there are many nice hiking trails through woods, over meadows and along streams. You can find plenty of mushrooms, berries and herbs. The farm is a good place for recreation and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Additional free conveniences for guests include bio bathing pond, sandy riding arena, picnic area, children’s play area, campfire and BBQ by arrangement, darts, trampoline, table soccer, beach volley, washing and ironing facilities on request, free mountainbike hire and private parking.

Our self-catering apartment Chiara (70m² , 6 beds) is located in a separate building. It was completely rebuilt using wood and stones in the traditional way typical to the area. Lower floor: kitchen & dining area, sofa. Upper floor: two bedrooms with private bathrooms. Both rooms offer stunning views over meadows and in each you can hear the water of the river running through the picturesque valley. From the kitchen you have direct access to a terrace with tables & chair, if you wish to enjoy your meals outside. Surrounded by beautiful trees and mountain vistas, there is no better way to enjoy the peace of nature

This cozy apartment (30m², 2+1 beds) has a kitchen, a bathroom, a shared bedroom & a dining area which is separated from the kitchen by a spacious wardrobe. The speciality of this apartment is certainly the double bed which has a bedframe made from local stones.
The apartment also has direct access to a terrace with a picnic table, deck chairs and beautiful panorama of the Dolomites.

The Apartment Panorama (about 80 m², 5+1 beds) is located at the upper floor of the house. It consists of three bedrooms (one with a large double bed, a second one with two single beds, and the third with just one bed), a bathroom with a window and a large kitchen with a dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a water boiler, toaster, café machine, moka, oven. From the windows of the 2 larger bedrooms you can enjoy a magnificent panorama over the valley.
On the lawn and terrace directly in front of the house you can enjoy tables, a barbeque and lounge chairs.

About the region

In Bolzano/Bozen and environs, different worlds collide. The historical centre welcomes you with winding alleys, open squares and cafés, where you can enjoy a break with a view of the Dolomites. The Italian and German ways of life have coexisted here for centuries: you can see them in the architecture, you can hear them in the language, and you can taste them in the dishes. From the bottom of the valley, you can ascend by cable car to remarkable places such as the earth pyramids of Ritten/Renon. In the villages of the Sarntal/Val Sarentino, traditions are still alive, while along the Wine Route, the landscape becomes more Mediterranean.
