Hotel description

Switch off, recharge your batteries and relax - that's what you can do here. The Mitterhof is owned by the von Zieglauer family, an old family of pharmacists from Bruneck. The farm was run as a dairy farm until 2002. Today, organic farming is practised, mainly the cultivation of forgotten vegetables such as Jerusalem artichokes, tuberous cistus, mashua, parsley root and similar.

About the region

In the Dolomites Region Kronplatz changes with the seasons, but never loses its unique charm. In summer, you can explore on foot or by bike; in winter, on skis or snowshoes. The landscape is open and easily recognisable, even though the light and colours change. But there is more to discover than just nature: the museums on the mountain tops tell powerful stories tied to Alpine culture. And if you listen closely, you can also hear Ladin spoken: a sign of a land that keeps its roots alive.
