Winter: Our farm is centrally located to the 2275 m high ski resort Kronplatz. Every day a ski bus can bring you to the valley station, which is only 1.5 km from our house. The ski enthusiasts dispose of over 31 new cabin-switchbacks and ski lifts and a wide range of perfectly maintained ski-runs (approx. 110 km) with all different levels of difficulty. There is as well the possibility to go to the ski resort of Alta Badia. In the wonderful world of the Dolomiten you can experience the Sellarunde and the Gebirgsjägerskitour. For all ski-beginners a ski -and snowboardschool is offered, children can stay at the ski-kindergarten. Summer: Our village is the central starting point for nice hikes to the open countryside, to hill farms and refuges and to snow-covered mountain tops. It is also worth to make a side trip to the castles Michelsburg or Sonnenburg of the Middle Ages, to the mountain inn Haidenberg or to the place of pilgrimage Maria Saalen. The tourism association offers a guided archaeological nature trail excursion every week. After a hard hike or just for relax you can enjoy the new indoor pool at Reischach with its sauna and wellness area, the brine bath and the baby pool with a flume. Nearby are also riding stables and an 18-hole golf course. Bruneck offers you an open air bad, in Sand in Taufers you can experience a natural swimming pool and the small Issinger Weiher lake is worth to visit as well.
