Description

We are the second generation of the Bassot family, which has been running this establishment since 1974. In our work we try to give our guests a piece of ourselves every day - products made with our own hands, attention to detail, simplicity and familiarity with our guests. We are located in the centre of Corvara in a green and quiet area with a view of the Sassongher. The strategic position of the Garni with the ski slopes nearby is very popular with skiers during the winter season. After an unforgettable day on the slopes, skiers can return directly to the Garni with their skis. We have different room types with a rich breakfast buffet with fresh homemade cakes, our natural yoghurt and all kinds of freshly made eggs. We also offer overnight-only accommodation in our flats.

About the region

In the Dolomites Region Alta Badia, the Dolomites look so close you could reach out and touch them. The Sassongher mountain, Santa Croce peak and Sella group rise above manicured villages and ancient farms. In the "viles" (hamlets), people still speak Ladin, a language that is deeply rooted in this valley. Mountaineering has a long history here, but today Alta Badia is also synonymous with excellent cuisine. Between lodges, gourmet events and Michelin-starred restaurants, gourmands will find plenty of authentic and refined dishes to enjoy. Not to mention the slopes of the Gran Risa ski course, the hairpin bends of the Maratona dles Dolomites bicycle race, and the Armentara meadows. Each season brings new possibilities.
