Hotel description

The Sainsom flats are located in the most scenic and sunny part of Colfosco, in the Stella Alpina valley, surrounded by the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. An ideal starting point in summer for hikes from easy to challenging and in winter directly on the ski slopes. Our flats are all furnished with care in precious wood, warm and cosy in the Alpine tradition. They are 2-person and 2/4-person apartments equipped with bed linen, towels and tea towels. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences (microwave, toaster, coffee machine, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and electric hotplate). The living room has a TV and sofa bed. Wifi, and free parking on site.

About the region

In the Dolomites Region Alta Badia, the Dolomites look so close you could reach out and touch them. The Sassongher mountain, Santa Croce peak and Sella group rise above manicured villages and ancient farms. In the "viles" (hamlets), people still speak Ladin, a language that is deeply rooted in this valley. Mountaineering has a long history here, but today Alta Badia is also synonymous with excellent cuisine. Between lodges, gourmet events and Michelin-starred restaurants, gourmands will find plenty of authentic and refined dishes to enjoy. Not to mention the slopes of the Gran Risa ski course, the hairpin bends of the Maratona dles Dolomites bicycle race, and the Armentara meadows. Each season brings new possibilities.
