Welcome to the Ramoser family at Vogelweiderheim. Our house is located in Novale in Laion, at an altitude of 780 meters, on the sunny southern slope at the entrance to Val Gardena - the ideal starting point for your skiing and hiking holiday. Novale in Laion is a scattered settlement amidst fields, meadows, and forests. The immediate surroundings are a dream setting for hikers and cyclists. Our house is situated above the St. Katharina Church and right next to the birthplace of the famous minstrel Walter von der Vogelweide. Many popular hiking trails, such as the Vogelweider circular trail, the old path to the medieval Trostburg castle, or the old hiking trail to the highest viewpoint of Laion, the summit cross of Rasciesa, pass directly by our house. All the farms where you can enjoy the cozy Törggelen with traditional food and drinks are located near us. The Törggelen farms are within a few minutes' walk from us. An unforgettable walk through vineyards and chestnut groves is inviting in every season. The skiing and hiking areas of Val Gardena – Alpe di Siusi can be reached by car in 20 minutes. Also the connection with public transport works very well. Just a few minutes' walk away is a bus stop with excellent connections to Chiusa, Bressanone, Merano and the provincial capital Bolzano. Our house is 3 km from the main village of Laion. There are various shops, restaurants and sports facilities. Motorcyclists also find the ideal starting point for motorcycle tours through the stunning landscape of the Dolomites with us.
