About the region

In the Dolomites Region Alta Badia, the Dolomites look so close you could reach out and touch them. The Sassongher mountain, Santa Croce peak and Sella group rise above manicured villages and ancient farms. In the "viles" (hamlets), people still speak Ladin, a language that is deeply rooted in this valley. Mountaineering has a long history here, but today Alta Badia is also synonymous with excellent cuisine. Between lodges, gourmet events and Michelin-starred restaurants, gourmands will find plenty of authentic and refined dishes to enjoy. Not to mention the slopes of the Gran Risa ski course, the hairpin bends of the Maratona dles Dolomites bicycle race, and the Armentara meadows. Each season brings new possibilities.

The Pension Piz Alpin B&B offers 2 rooms that are specially equipped for wheelchair users, and the bathroom is also easily accessible. The most important areas (restaurant, bar, terrace, solarium and sauna) are easily accessible by lift (125 x 80 cm). There is a car park in front of the entrance: There may be some access difficulties due to the 35 cm ramp immediately at the entrance.
