Seehotel Ambach

Form & Nature Seehotel Ambach occupies a unique shore location in a green corner of the lake, to which two bathing jetties lead. The architecture of the hotel, which opened in 1973, is also unique, with its clean lines and spacious feeling. Inside and out, the immaculate building has preserved the zeitgeist of the 1970s. With a purity and lightness, the original design combines perfectly with modern comforts. It is a hotel for guests who appreciate pure form and unspoilt nature. The terraces – offering vistas like the decks of a ship – and the big sun lawn offer peace and quiet for relaxation and sheer pleasure. All the rooms offer fine views of the lake, the majestic mountains and the luxuriant vegetation in the grounds of the hotel. In 2018, a bathhouse with whirlpool, Finnish sauna (90°) and Bio sauna (65°) with infrared heaters and outdoor swimming pool was added to the biotope park. In 2016, the Seehotel was honored by the renowned international news and lifestyle magazine "Monocle" as "Best for Lakeside Luxury Hotel". In 2014, the Seehotel was honored with the "South Tyrol Historical Accommodation Award" - the first time a hotel, that looks back on just 40 years of history, was awarded.
