After the last relevant restructuration we will be glad to welcome you in the Hotel Alpenheim. Well-being ist our most important aim- in a comfortable, kind atmosphere with higher comfort and many amenities. The generously decorated rooms and suites and the 4 totally newly-built suites. The rooms are provided with bath or shower, desk, SAT-TV, FREE WIFI internet connection, safe and balcony. The typical Alpenheim well-being services, the rich breakfast buffet and the à la carte menus in the stylish dining-room or wintergarden, the comfortable house bar, the Tyrolean Stube and vinothek (wine-shop) with excellent wines, the new sauna area „Soreghina“ with Finnish Sauna, steam bath, Vitrarium biological sauna, aromatic showers, the generously arranged rest, relax and recovery oasis, single whirlpools and the new indoor and outdoor swimming-pools will provide you a restful holiday. Furthermore, we offer you in winter 5 timers a week a guided skiing experience in the ski area Dolomiti Superski, with the Skiinstructor of the skischool Ortisei! In summer we are an excellent starting point for excursions, three times a week our hiking guide will show you the gorgeous mountains of the Dolomites, and also mountainbiking, with guide! Moreover, we have got an underground car park and free outdoor parking lots and the tennis and squash enthusiasts have free entrance in the Tenniscenter St. Ulrich.

About the region

In the region Val Gardena region, the Dolomites are so close you can touch them and the Ladin way of life can be experienced in all its colours. Modern lifts and trendy events paired with traditional wood carving arts connect innovation and tradition on holiday.


The Val Gardena valley is an internationally renowned ski and hiking area in the middle of spectacular Dolomites rock towers. It offers outstanding holiday value at the highest level year round. A cable car ride from one of the valley stations followed by a gentle walk is as good a way of seeking out impressive viewing points as a hike round around the striking Sassolungo mountain or high-Alpine tours and via ferrata climbs. Val Gardena is strongly influenced by its Ladin population and the coexistence of three official languages: German, Italian, and Ladin. Taste and experience the seductive blend of cultures in the numerous Alpine farms, mountain huts, or restaurants. Wood carving is a cornerstone of Ladin culture worth seeing for yourself. It is the source of Val Gardena region’s nickname “Valley of wood carvers”, an aspect that has now been modernised and enhanced throughout the region.
