Approach on the Timmelsjoch high alpine road to the parking space near the Oberglanegg Alm. Ascent on trail no. 20 to the Königsjoch and via the east ridge, which is partly exposed and has easy climbing passages, to the Grenzgipfel (Border Summit). The descent follows the same route. Attention: Good physical condition and no fear of heights are required! Walking time: 7 hours (there & back) | Difference in altitude: 1,000 m

The eleventh edition of the Women's run Brixen relies on the tried and tested, but the date is new: On Friday, 1 September 2023, up to a thousand women will run 4.2195 km through the old town of Brixen - without time calculation and without a start number. The event will start at 6.30 pm with the usual warm-up for all participants, the starting signal will be given at 7 pm. The Women's run adheres to its message "Women run for women" and this year again donates one third of the registrations to women in need.

The 3-Länder Enduro Race is pure Enduro racing: Varied and long trails form the perfect basis for three days of Enduro in a class of its own. At the Reschenpass in the border triangle of Austria, South Tyrol and Switzerland, there is an abundance of trails that - mainly due to their length - offer fun and challenge at the same time. Largely natural, the sometimes rooty, sometimes stony, sometimes flowing trails challenge the skills of the riders. From Nauders or Reschen, you usually take the lift to the trail entrance - but in keeping with the true Enduro philosophy, you also have to pedal the one or other hundred meters of altitude. The reward for this is twofold: a beautiful mountain world and the already mentioned routes of the 3-Länder Enduro Trails. And after training or at the end of the (racing) day, you meet at Nauders to chill and barbecue together.

1,869 metres in altitude, 48 hairpin bends and an incredible all-round panorama await cyclists who get into the saddle at the Stilfserjoch Bike Day at the beginning of September. Every year, the legendary pass road on the Stilfserjoch - one of the highest passable Alpine crossings - is closed to traffic for one day and only opened to "two-wheelers" and pedestrians. ATTENTION: Umbrailstrasse closed to all for safety reasons! A starting point for the Stilfserjoch cycling day is in Prad am Stilfserjoch or also in Spondinig. On this popular cycling day, the aim is to conquer one of the highest Alpine crossings, the 2,760-metre-high Stifserjoch. Not a bike race, but: Being there is everything! It's hard to imagine the MTB calendar without the cult event, and in 2024 the racers will be serving up an even more festive menu: At the Trail Hunt in Val Gardena on 31th of August, enduro fans will battle it out on a completely new course with four tricky challenges. For the 2-person and 3-person teams (incl. separateE-MTB classification), one fantastic trail follows the next on the Sellaronda and in the enduro mecca of Canazei. We definitely can't get enough of what Mother Nature serves us in the middle of the Dolomites. But we can eat our tasty dumplings that are on the menu at the end of the day at the dumpling festival - with live music, lots of cool prizes and, of course, the Golden Giant Dumpling, which is won by the team with the best average time. BUT first you have to find all the checkpoints with smart tactics, good orientation and maximum fun and pass the four dumpling challenges. With a view of the Sellagroup, the Sassolungo massif and the majestic Marmolada, the bike buddies go uphill in teams of 2 or 3 by cable car - and then downhill on the finest trails, from flowing to challenging, from freshly built routes to technical natural trails, there is something for everyone's taste. For the sixth edition, the hunters start on Ciampinoi on a completely new route that has even more trail delicacies in store. If you have a taste for it, you can register for the trail hunt from 15.04.2024 onwards. The price of 48 € (per person) includes a participant shirt, a beer and of course the dumplings. The lift ticket is NOT included in the start package! Choice between day ticket or 3-day ticket. Oldtimer-hiking with historical and classic automobiles During the ADAC Europe Classic from 2 to 5 September 2024, magnificent classic vehicles will explore the beauties and special features of South Tyrol and the "base station" Schenna on carefully selected routes. The unique landscape in combination with culinary and cultural highlights provides a perfect holiday feeling, whether along the panoramic routes or while enjoying South Tyrolean specialties under palm trees.

The local hiking guide will lead you on this easy circular hike to the show distillery. It goes past high moors, watercourses and alpine meadows. The inner dimension of mountaineering Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, an Austrian mountaineer, is one of the most famous female climbers in the world. She has climbed all fourteen of the world's highest peaks above 8000 meters. She was the first woman to reach the summit of K2, the second highest mountain in the world, without using supplemental oxygen or the help of high-altitude porters. During this event, Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner shares her most intimate reflections on mountaineering, drawn directly from her mountain adventures. She talks about her physical and mental preparation, her passion, and how to overcome challenges. For Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, meditation, intuition, nutrition, and the connection with the mountains and nature are crucial elements. You can expect a conference with personal stories and captivating images of the mountains. (The conference will be held in German). Powered by Karpos. Ascent on trail no. 21A via the Hahnenkamm to the Pfitschkopf, continue on a trail called "Lustiger Kameradensteig" and the Obisellalm to the summit. The Eroica is the most popular vintage cycling event in the world! “L’Eroica is poetry on two wheels”, where time seems to have stood still. L’Eroica looks to the future with the values of the past that made cycling popular and inspired some of the best literature of the twentieth century.

Shared mountain experiences in fascinating nature can bring people together and lead to mountain camaraderie and friendship. The two-country march has shown in the past that many like-minded people set off together to experience a wonderful day. At 25 km and 1,675 metres in altitude, the march is no walk in the park, but with a little practice and fitness, it is manageable for any hiker.

Cycling Day with closed roads from Pennes and Vipiteno to the Passo Pennes - Penser Joch Pass on Saturday, 7 September 2024 from 09.30 a.m. till 04.30 p.m.

1 March! 2 valleys! 3 alpine pastures! 4 lakes! The march starts for both cathegories at the valley station of the Haideralm and goes over the Fischgader to the Bruggeralm, where the 2 categories will be separated. The first category goes directly to the Haideralm (total 11,5km) The second categories goes up to the Schäferhütte and from there over the Grünsee to the Haideralm (total 17km). There everyone will have the opportunity to finish the day at the alp festival with live music. The starting fee will be given to the children of the family Folie.

Start from the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten in the direction of Sexten, then slightly uphill to Mitterberg and on to Nemes Alm. After about 20 minutes we reach a plateau called "Saumad" (1.750 ) where we turn left to the Klammbach-Alm (1.940). Also here we are challenged again to enjoy after approx. 30 minutes at the Almhütte the dreamlike view of the Three Peaks. Arrived at the Klammbach hut, we take a break and enjoy the "Schmankerln" by Hannes, then when Leon briefly unpacks his accordion then the mood is perfect. Passing the "Hennstoll" and via the Sesto circular trail we return to Sesto to the Bike Academy Sesto Dolomites.

"The Dolomites are the most beautiful natural architecture in the world", as architect Le Corbusier puts it. The tour "Dolomiti senza confini" leads exactly through this natural architecture. Over old mountain galleries, ladder paths from World War 1 and suspension bridges you will reach the well-deserved summit cross. History can be so much more than boring literature from books.

What makes yoga at the foot of the Latemar so special? It's the silence, the nature and the breathtaking view. Together with yoga teacher Johanna Kompatscher, we hike into the extraordinary Latemar forest. This is known for its high-quality hazel spruce wood, which is well suited for stringed instruments and is sought after by instrument makers from all over the world. In this idyllic setting at the foot of the Latemar, Johanna will guide us through a meditative practice that strengthens and promotes our strength, flexibility and concentration. During the dynamic Prana Flow, we will merge our breath with movement and practice yoga with mindfulness. Approach into the Schnalstal Valley (ca. 1 hour) to the starting point in Vernagt/Vernago. The ascent is via Tisental Valley to the Similaunhütte at 3,020 m. After a rest, the route continues over partly pathless boulder terrain to the discovery site, where a stone pyramid stands. Here you will find lots of information about how Ötzi was found. Forest hike to places of power & natural monuments with nature coach Helga Tschager. The bus takes us up from Welschnofen | Nova Levante to the Adler bus stop. From there we hike along path [25] to the Staldalm farm, where we are offered a picturesque view of the alpine pastures and mountain landscape of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar. Via path [27] we return to the bus stop from where we started the hike. Return to Welschnofen | Nova Levante by bus. The soothing and relaxing atmosphere of the forest gives us the opportunity to rediscover the "fascination" of nature, recharge our batteries and free ourselves from the negative thoughts that are constantly buzzing around in our brains. We learn to relax again, to see, hear, feel, smell and taste. As we walk mindfully through the forest, we do thought exercises, recharge our lungs with oxygen, find centuries-old trees like the "snake tree" that have been growing in magical places for 600 to 700 years and are full of positive energy. We breathe in the pure air and hike free of thoughts and stress with pure joy of life. Please note: the route has a minimum altitude difference of 1000 m. To enjoy the experience at its best, and to make it accessible to everyone, we ask you to use an electric bike.
