A morning that leaves its mark. Forests throughout South Tyrol have been brought to their knees. Storms, heavy snowfall and the spread of the bark beetle, a small insect that feeds on fir and pine trees, are leading to the death of numerous green areas. A large number of volunteers have taken action to help these forests, which provide shelter for so many animal species and are crucial in reducing the risk of landslides. You will ascend by cable car to the Piz de Plaies area, one of the hardest hit, but also one of the most beautiful and scenic. Eventually we will plant a tree together, as sign and permanent memory of the vacation, but also for our well-being as well as that of the nature surrounding us. Accompanying you will be Pire, a forest ranger and great expert on our forests, who will be able to explain to you all the most particular curiosities. Every contribution, however small, can make the difference!

From the hiking parking lot above Mudler, turning left along the hiking trail to the fork, then along the forest path up steeper to the Lutterkopf. Panoramic view of the Sesto Dolomites, the Peitlerkofel, the Rieserferner group and the Ortler. The Reschenseelauf, also known as the most exciting race in South Tyrol, takes place this year on July 13 for the 24th time. Everyone can participate, because there is a suitable performance class for everyone. From the Just for Fun Run to the Kids Run and from Handbiking to Nordic Walking, there is something for everyone. There is also the main run, which is divided into different categories depending on the performance level.

With the right know-how and the right equipment, the risk of an accident can be reduced or avoided - the certified guides from SAAC show you on the bike what is important in terms of accident prevention. Both theoretically and practically, the participants are taught the most important safety aspects, a correct riding technique and the right choice of material and equipment. Therefore, on 13/07 and 14/07/2024, and on 12/10 and 13/10/2024, every bike-interested person has the opportunity to deepen his knowledge and to refine his technique.  A "special edition" of the SAAC Bike Camp will take place too on Kronplatz/Plan de Corones, namely the "Girlpower Bike Camp", especially for women. Anyone who is at least 14 years old and wants to expand and force his bike awareness can participate!

Ice hockey ist not just a game of skating and shooting… it is much more a game of quick decisions. That is exactly why we created the Edges, Decision Making & Goal Scoring Camp, where we will work on the decision making ability of our players, because we think that it is the utimate skill to master the game of hockey. After a few sessions of edgework to strengthen our stability, we will go into very specific decision making drills where we will challenge our players to make every decision quicker, in order to gain the edge over their competitors during that split second that decides upon victory or defeat. Whether it is left or right, passing or shooting, the right answer does not wait. And that is why the best technique is worthless, if it is not used at the right time.

Your adventure week on the 3 Countries Enduro Trails! The main part of this week is spent exploring the region on the bike. Trained guides teach boys and girls aged 11 to 15 many tips and tricks in open terrain and on single trails. Among other things, trail basics such as balancing correctly, braking, riding on and over steps, climbing and descending, etc. are refined during this week and what is learned is put into practice on the 3 Länder Enduro Trails. In addition to the 3 country enduro trails, you can expect other great activities such as a first aid course, trail building and a bike workshop.

The 21 km course, starting in Prad am Stilfserjoch/Prato allo Stelvio (915 m), leads through distinctive villages, such as the mountain village of Stilfs/Stelvio, and the nature of the high alpine Stelvio National Park. After running 2,100 metres in altitude, the runners cross the finish line above the Stelvio Pass at the Dreisprachenspitze peak at 2,845 m against the backdrop of the striking mountain landscape around King Ortles. On Saturday, 22 July 2023, this unique running event will take place for the seventh time, starting this year under the name Stilfserjoch Stelvio Trail Run. Whether professional, hobby athlete or hiker with or without walking sticks - being there is everything!

Locations: Bozen–Rentsch-Klobenstein-Lengstein-Barbian-Waidbruck-Telfen/Lanzin-Seis-Völs-Blumau-Bozen, 75 km, 1.748 m. The first stage of Giro delle Dolomiti departs at 9 a.m. from Bolzano, from BolzanoFair, located in Bolzano South. Continuing to the district “Rencio”, where the road winds its way through vineyards and mixed forests of the Renon Plateau. This the favorite vacation spot of the people of Bolzano, which offers beautiful views of Alpe di Siusi, Sciliar and Sassolungo. Once reached the highest point in Collalbo, the route continues halfway up the mountainside to Barbian, then descends to Ponte Gardena. Here, it joins the provincial road to Castelrotto, the first timed section, which will declare the first winners of this new edition. After a well-deserved break (feeding – point) at the finish line in Castelrotto, the route descends, in the shadow of the Sciliar massif, through the villages of Siusi and Fié till Prato Isarco, from where will be reached BolzanoFiar again. The Giro delle Dolomiti, in its 47th edition from July 22-26, 2024, returns to the great Dolomite classics on the territories of South Tyrol and Trentino. Each stage (5 in total) will feature, a mountain time trial that will help determine the overall winner. For the rest of the route, you will pedal in a speed-controlled peloton. The Giro delle Dolomiti enjoys great popularity on the international scene. This year´s stages are full of charm and will take in the stunning Dolomite passes of Stelvio, Passo Fedaia, Alpe di Pampeago and the Salto plateau. In fact, many of these 'classic' passes have hosted the Giro d´Italia caravan in recent years. The "Giro dei 4 Passi" stage, the legendary "Sellaronda" with the Sella, Pordoi, Campolongo and Gardena passes, will be the longest and most challenging of the entire event. In 2024 the total distance will be 503.5 kilometers, the elevation gain about 11,509 meters. It will start each day from Fiera Bolzano, the logistical center of the event. Registration can be for the entire Giro delle Dolomiti ("Complete Giro" ticket) or for individual stages. Included in the registration fee is a long list of services, as well as the official Giro delle Dolomiti jersey. The Giro delle Dolomiti is certified as a "green event" and boasts the Patronage of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation. For those who will accompany the cyclists, moreover, the organizers of the ASD Giro delle Dolomiti have planned cultural and gastronomic activities, devising an ad hoc package for them, the so-called "Giro Guest".

The stage ‘Sellaronda’ will start from Ponte Gardena (Km 0), the entrance of Val Gardena. This shifting of the starting-point guarantees more fun and safety on the road for the participants on the way out of Bolzano. After a short climb, on the way of “strada statale Val Gardena”, it will lead to Ortisei, then to S. Cristina and finally to Selva V.G., where begins the climb to Passo Gardena and Passo Sella. After reaching the junction, after Plan de Gralba, the road will keep on to Passo Gardena. After an initial uphill section, the route becomes almost flat. Coasting the Sella massif, we climb the hairpin bends that lead to Passo Gardena. From here follows a fabulous descent, surrounded by the imposing rock faces of the Dolomites, till Corvara where refreshments are provided. Quickly over the Passo Campolongo, we arrive in Arabba, the start of the timed section up to Passo Pordoi. After a short break with a visit to the Coppi monument, we continue uphill to Passo Sella and then a long descent to Selva V.G. for lunch. Having left Val Gardena, reaching Pontives and downhill to Ponte Gardena, where the stage ends.

We take the bus to the Öbersthöfe in Vernuer/Vernurio. The hike takes us via trail no. 5 to the alpine hut Obisellalm and the natural mountain lake Obisellsee. There we can enjoy a delicious lunch. Strengthened, we hike along trail no. 21 to the Hahnenkammhütte with a wonderful panoramic view of the Meran/Merano basin. We return to the starting point via a beautiful forest path.
