Exploring the mining area

This tour starts at the bridge Schneebergbrücke and leads to the former mining area. In addition to visiting the museum, the program includes fascinating insights into the underground world of the St. Martin Gallery and the Himmelreich Gallery. The experience is rounded off with an excursion through the historic miners’ settlement before descending together back to the starting point. Tour itinerary: - ascent to the former Schneeberg mining area (now mountain hut and museum) - visit of the museum - exploration of the St. Martin Gallery - lunch break with the option to stop at the Schneeberg Hut - exploration of the Himmelreich Gallery - excursion through the miners’ settlement - descent back to the starting point Return: arround 5:30 p.m. at the bridge Schneebergbrücke Walking time: approx. 5 hours (round trip) | Difference in altitude: approx. 750 m The guided tour will be in German and Italian.
