We meet in front of the Tourist Office in Bolzano and take the bus together to Jenesien. Return journey by bus as well.

The Steinegg theatre group "Heimatbühne Steinegg" invites you to a festive experience this Advent. “Weihnachten ohne Weihnachtsbaum” is a short, heart-warming play for the whole family – perfect for getting into the spirit of the season. Directed by Ivan Prader, this charming performance promises moments of joy, warmth and surprise.

Friday market in Lana, carpark "Lorenzer", Lana from 7.30-12.30.

You will hear historical and current facts about Marling and one or two Christmas stories on the evening lantern walk through the village center of Marling. You will be accompanied by our local guide Johanna.

After the evening walk, you’ll be welcomed at the pavilion in Marling with sweet pastries, a glass of Marling wine, or a refreshing South Tyrolean apple juice, the perfect way to conclude a unforgettable evening.

Registration required: Until Friday, 12 noon online or at the Tourist Association Marling.

Drawing - The Mals Christmas lottery The Malser Christmas lottery is a campaign organised by the merchants and businesses of the municipality of Mals. Everyone who makes a purchase worth more than €10.00 in one of the participating businesses in the municipality between 1 and 30 December will receive a ticket for the chance to win great prizes! The first prize draw will take place on 19 December 2025 as part of the "Mitnond" event at 7 p.m. The grand prize draw will then take place on 31 December at 11 a.m. on the main square in Mals! The Schützen company will spoil you with food and drink. There will also be live music for the best entertainment! So, shop and win!

This winter, the Watles adventure mountain once again invites you to enjoy sporty and culinary adventures at 2,000 metres! All this awaits you at the toboggan evenings on the Watles Adventure Mountain. The Watles toboggan piste is illuminated on these evenings from 7 - 11 pm! You can whizz down the piste several times! The Plantapatsch hut is open for you during the night tobogganing and will spoil you with hot drinks and good food. Be part of it! The team at the Watles Adventure Mountain is looking forward to seeing you!

Tour description: Every Tuesday afternoon we walk with our well-behaved llamas and alpacas from Linzbach through the little village of Oberbozen from where we then dive into the surrounding little forest called "Fuchslöchl". Enjoy an easy local walk on lovely paths and through shady woods. Touching various areas of Ortisei, via Pradac – Juaut – Cudan – Tambres – Vico di Sopra and Costamula you finally reach the Tiscion farm. Visit the horses, cows, hens, ducks, goats and sheep in their stables, stroke the rabbits and learn some stories about a mountain farm. An exciting experience for the whole family.

A few days before Christmas, we forget the pre-holiday bustle and create a fairy-tale felt oasis of calm. We will learn to make beautiful Christmas decorations from local sheep’s wool using the dry-felting technique. Born from the union of extraordinary voices and supported by over twenty years of artistic experience, the Gospel Voices Family brings to the stage a rich and engaging repertoire: from the great classics of traditional gospel to more modern and vibrant pieces, enhanced by original arrangements and a compelling stage presence.

A unique musical experience that connects cultures and generations, spreading the values of joy, community, and hope that have always defined gospel music.

Gospel Voices Family is an ensemble of African-American singers bringing the authentic experience of a Gospel service to life. The repertoire ranges from classic spirituals and work songs to Christmas songs and contemporary gospel with hip-hop influences.

Top-level soloists and a dynamic band create rich, unique choral harmonies. The group has performed at major festivals in Italy and internationally, including the Roma Gospel Festival, Stadio San Siro, Toscana and Lugano Gospel Festival, and in 36 countries worldwide.

Feel the warm Advent atmosphere as you stroll between lovingly decorated stalls and discover small handcrafted items that warm the heart.

At 4:30 p.m., the youth band will perform a festive concert, providing musical highlights.

Food, drinks, and a Christmassy atmosphere are well taken care of.

WAAG Slam turns three! And everyone’s invited to celebrate!
This will be a special Christmas edition featuring some of the most active local slammers of the moment: Adam Dalpiaz, Manuel Hilber, Filomena Hunglinger, Olivia Kaufmann, Andreas Kofler, Silva Manzardo, Irene Moroder, Lena Simonetti, Team “Michi und Ichi” (Michaela Grüner and Frau S.), and Seamus Wimhurst.
All performances will include a little seasonal motto—“First 1, then 2, then 3, then 4, then…”—and the audience will get their cue to cheer “hui!” every time. Each slammer performs their own original texts, live on stage, with no costumes or props—just their voice, their presence, and their words.
We’ll also be joined by a wonderful special guest: musician Maria Craffonara (Vienna/Brunico), with her violin, her kalimba, and her unmistakable voice. The evening will be hosted by Lene Morgenstern.
Admission is free, but please bring a book with you. One you’ve already read. Or one you’d prefer someone else to read. One that meant a lot to you. Or one you still haven’t fully figured out. One that got you through your studies. Or one someone else should probably study…At the end of the night, you’ll get to take home a different book. “Bring a book / Take a book.”
As always, the audience will be the jury, and only one slammer will take the crown. And then it’s party time.

The lanterns we have brought illuminate our path through the quiet, wintry countryside. At the Kanzele viewpoint, we not only enjoy the view of the city of Merano beautifully illuminated for Christmas, but also awarming tea. Afterwards, we return together.
