Authentic and Traditional – The Ritten Christmas Market. The Ritten Christmas Market enchants visitors with beautifully decorated stalls, high-quality handicrafts, atmospheric music, and local specialties. A varied programme of events and children’s activities makes a visit to the Ritten Christmas Train Market (Rittner Christbahnl) an unforgettable experience, turning the Advent and Christmas season into something truly special. The Ritten Christmas Train Market at the Oberbozen railway station, in the historic Plattner Beekeeping Museum in Wolfsgruben, and in the village centre of Klobenstein is open during Advent and Christmas time on Fridays from 2 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Ritten Railway connects the three locations every 30 minutes. On all opening days: Nativity scene exhibition at the historic Plattner Farm in Wolfsgruben. On Saturdays and Sundays: Horse-drawn carriage rides from Klobenstein station to the village centre, introductory pony riding, and llama and pony walks in Oberbozen. The youngest artists are also part of the celebration: pupils from the local primary school lovingly decorate the stations along the Ritten Railway line with festive creations. “Hark, what comes from out the woods so near? The Merano Christmas Market provides a magical atmosphere, with daily
concerts, children’s entertainment, local customs and handicrafts. There are other Christmas markets in Merano and Environs too, offering textiles, jewelry, ceramics, glass and wooden objects. Closed on 25th December.

Visit our gastronomic Christmas market with the new Christmas shop in the historic heart of Dobbiaco from 28.11.2025 to 06.01.2026. Many huts await you with a rich offer of local delicacies prepared by Dobbiaco's gastronomists, the pavilion where an exciting entertainment programme takes place and the new Christmas shop where you can find a selection of handicrafts made by local artisans. Visit the many shops, restaurants and participating accommodation in the village and try your luck at the Three Peaks Christmas Lottery. Mulled wine is Christmas in the glass. Especially at Christmas time, when the spicy taste of the mulled wine warms hands, body and heart and lets you enjoy the festive atmosphere even more.

During the Bolzano Christmas Market music bands and singing groups will cheer the time with Christmas music.

Lights and Christmas atmospheres transform Bolzano into the Christmas capital. The iconic Christmas Market takes place in Walther Square and Viale Stazione, in the Christmas Park from via dell’Isarco to the Parco dei Cappuccini, in many streets of the historic center, and in many other locations, which become meeting places for those who love the enchanting pre-Christmas atmosphere.

A nighttime adventure you shouldn’t miss in winter!

At the Allriss Hut in the Pflersch Valley, you can enjoy moonlit tobogganing with friends and soak up the unique atmosphere of the winter mountains. Since the toboggan run is not illuminated, we recommend bringing a headlamp.

You can reach the mountain hut on foot in about 1 hour from St. Anton (Pflersch Valley).

The Allriss Hut is open every Tuesday and Friday until 10:00 p.m. (hot meals served until 8:00 p.m.).

Tour description: Every Tuesday afternoon we walk with our well-behaved llamas and alpacas from Linzbach through the little village of Oberbozen from where we then dive into the surrounding little forest called "Fuchslöchl". On the idyllic forest path, we enjoy the silence of the forest and the tranquility that our animal companions radiate. Further tours on request!

Touching various areas of Ortisei, via Pradac – Juaut – Cudan – Tambres – Vico di Sopra and Costamula you finally reach the Tiscion farm. During this personal tour with wine connoisseur and host Walter, you'll gain fascinating insights into the history and traditions of winemaking in the Burggrafenamt region. Kick off the holiday season with swinging tunes! A group of singers, the youth choir from the Lana Music School, and the school band invite you to join them for a delightful X-Mas musical experience.

At the Christmas workshop we make Christmas decoration. The participation is free of charge, no registration needed.

This light is carried by children into the hearts of the people in our village during the afternoon “Marende” (snack) time, in various corners of the village. It will be a moment of music, reflection, and local flavors. Angels and shepherds will bring the message of Christmas... I case o inclement weather, the event will be postponed to Saturday, 20 December 2025.

Seis am Schlern is getting ready for a magical Advent and Christmas season!

In addition to the ice rink in the village square with skate rentals, there will be fascinating magic and fire shows, great live bands, contemplative Advent concerts, and atmospheric Christmas stories, providing a varied program. A winter experience for young and old alike!

The golden autumn has given up its colorful place and left the stage to winter for the most contemplative time of the year. With a promising tone, lights and angels, Christmas trees and a small Christmas market announce the holiday season in Kaltern, which makes the most of its smaller size with nothing lacking. A contemplative village stroll if desired, enjoying wine and fine treats in festive garb, embedded in culinary traditions with both old customs and new practices that will join them. A celebration of joy, sharing, and community, surrounded by music and hospitality in the heart of Kaltern.

Sterntaler Baking Workshop. Baking with children is something Farmer Patrizia from "Aus unserer Hand" (From Our Own Hands) particularly enjoys, and she’s looking forward to welcome little helping hands to join her in the kitchen. Let’s get kneading, baking, and decorating together! Join us in the Franziskus Hall of the Capuchin Monastery in Lana at the following times: 10:00-11:30 AM, 2:30-4:00 PM, and 5:00-6:30 PM. (Sign up at the Lana Tourist Office. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult).

The ZWOAKLONG music group will perform from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, creating a festive winter and Christmas atmosphere.

The Children’s and Youth Choir of Oberrasen welcomes the most wonderful time of the year with Advent melodies and Christmas songs – a musical moment filled with joy and warmth.
