The Margreid Lantern Advent invites you to enjoy the pre-Christmas season in an atmospheric setting. Mulled wine stands, an idyllic Christmas forest and lovingly designed lanterns decorating the streets and houses give Margreid a special Christmas glow. A highlight is the Krampus run on 5 December, accompanied by St. Nicholas, who gives gifts to the children. Musical performances, Advent stories and culinary delights create a festive atmosphere for young and old alike. On 23 December, the traditional charity mulled wine stand invites you to enjoy music and community spirit – and the most beautiful lantern decoration of the year is also awarded a prize. Immerse yourself in the magic of Margreid and experience the enchantment of Advent in the brightly lit village on the South Tyrolean Wine Road!

The "Alphorn Players" will provide musical accompaniment from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This makes a visit to the old town of Brixen an experience for the whole family. "Brixen for Kids", the year-round free childcare programme, is a special initiative aimed primarily at the local population and all visitors to Brixen's old town. Our year-round free offer invites children between the ages of 3 and 11 to have a good time in professional care. The Ritten Arena, a special venue for races at 1,100 m altitude boasting a stunning view, is a delight for athletes and fans alike. The ice rink is its piece de resistance and the fastest outdoor rink
in the world. Professional athletes and competitive teams come here for regular training and to race. The Ritten Arena is the home of the internationally successful ice hockey team, the Rittner Buam, and venue of the Continental Cup. At the weekend, the surface can be used by the general public when no races are on

Workshops and entertainment for children. Christmas is an exciting time for children, and the Merano Christmas Markets have reserved a space for them dedicated to imagination and creativity.

The Towau-Brass group of the Dobbiaco/Toblach Music Band will provide musical accompaniment at the Christmas market from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Look forward to an evening full of beautiful music!

From November 30, 2025, to January 6, 2026, Tramin will shine for the sixth time with Christmas splendor: the Tramin Advent Fountains invite visitors to a contemplative winter stroll through the festively decorated village. In total, 17 lovingly crafted fountains – from Rungg to Bethlehem and the village center, as well as in St. Jakob, the northern districts, and Söll – will be illuminated by local residents with festive decorations. A heartfelt thanks goes to them for their dedication and creativity. Especially by candlelight on the Advent Sundays, the historic fountains exude a special charm and invite visitors to pause, marvel, and linger.

ASV Football Kiens warmly invites you to the Kiens Christmas Market! On November 30, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM at the Community Center in Kiens. Come by and enjoy a cozy day filled with Christmas spirit, delicious food, and lots of surprises!

From 3:00 – 5:00 PM, we’ll craft little autumn elves and charming candle holders for Advent. Using natural materials, wooden beads, felt, fabric scraps, and colorful paper, we’ll create magical little artworks – perfect for gifts or decorating your home!

In the Christmas card workshop with Maria Jocher, kids can become little artists, stamping, printing, and decorating their own unique cards. A proud and joyful way to get into the holiday spirit!

This year, the Catholic Family Association of South Tyrol, Hafling branch, cordially invites you to the small Hafling Advent Market.

Visitors can expect a lovely selection of Advent wreaths, Christmas cards, decorations, biscuits and many other handmade items – all in aid of a good cause.

There will be a special highlight on Thursday: visitors will have the opportunity to design their own Advent wreaths and take them home with them if they wish.

Refreshments will of course be provided, ensuring a cosy pre-Christmas get-together.

The Parish Council of Obervintl invites you to enjoy warm drinks after the Holy Mass!
The Holy Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m.
The altar servers will offer cakes for the coffee gathering in exchange for a voluntary donation.

Various choirs and music groups welcome the Advent season with reflective and enchanting songs. Afterwards warm drinks and pastries are served for everyone.

On the first Sunday in Advent, the House of Culture in Steinegg is transformed into an atmospheric Christmas market, organised by the charity women of Steinegg. The traditional market offers a warm atmosphere, lovingly designed stands and a diverse range of handmade products, delicious treats and festive decorations. The special thing about this Christmas market is that all the net proceeds go to charity. The 20 or so active members of the association and numerous supporters from Steinegg and the surrounding area work hard to make this day a very special event. Immerse yourself in the pre-Christmas atmosphere and do good at the same time.

Twinkling lights, scent of pine—and a question: How much does the traditional nativity scene weigh?
On site, a handcrafted nativity scene by nativity master Helga Prünster will be displayed, and visitors can guess its weight. Whoever comes closest wins the nativity! Each participant may submit one guess and will receive a number to present at the drawing on December 21, 2025.
Important: Only those present at the drawing can claim the prize.

With our new Christmas lights, we set a radiant symbol of community, hope, and joyful anticipation for the most wonderful time of the year.
At the opening event, we want to join together, accompanied by the children’s choir and the lights that brighten the night, to welcome the Advent season.

A cozy evening in the church of Saltaus/Saltusio invites everyone to join in Advent singing. The Jägerchor Passeier (hunter's chorus from Passeiertal Valley), the Bläsergruppe Saltaus (brass ensemble of Saltaus/Saltusio), and the Frauenchor
St. Martin (women’s choir of St. Martin/S. Martino) perform traditional Advent and Christmas songs, creating a contemplative and festive atmosphere. Get into the spirit of Advent and enjoy musical highlights together.

Experience the magic of Advent at a charming Christmas market. Enjoy a cozy afternoon in a festive atmosphere, surrounded by Christmas melodies. Treat yourself to delicious coffee and handmade cake. For the little ones, there is a craft and play area where they can also have lots of fun during this special season.

During Alm Advent, the Fane Alm transform into a cozy place filled with festive anticipation on all Advent Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors can look forward to mulled wine, South Tyrolean specialties, a lovingly designed children’s program with crafting and storytelling, as well as stalls offering homemade products.

Each Advent Sunday features its own special highlight:

On the 1st Sunday of Advent (30/11/2025), an alpine devotion takes place at 2 pm, accompanied by a four-part choir and then the brass ensemble of the Valles music band.

On the 2nd Sunday of Advent (07/12/2025), St. Nicholas visits the hut at 2 pm, with musical accompaniment by the Terento men’s choir.

On the 3rd Sunday of Advent (14/12/2025), the brass ensemble of the Rodeneck music band provides contemplative music.

The 4th Sunday of Advent (21/12/2025) is accompanied musically by Thomas Mahlknecht and Johannes Oberhofer

The Villandro Nativity Scene Friends are creating a Nativity Scene Route in the village from the village to the parish church for the entire Advent period until the Three Wise Men. Showcases have been made in which various nativity scenes are exhibited.
