Guided farm hike in Laion and its surroundings. The bus takes us from Laion to Pontives. From here we hike with our hiking guide Helmuth along the posttrail to the Oberspisser mountain farm, where we can immerse ourselves in rural life. In the meantime, the table is set for lunch (not included). We reach our third stop, the Fallerhof, via the posttrail. A tasting awaits us here and together we immerse ourselves in the world of the farm. The day ends with a hike back to Laion. From the wooded valleys to the highest snow-capped peaks, the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park hides ancient secrets and discoveries of all kinds. Accompanied by an experienced guide, the Nature Park visitor centre will reveal all its mysteries. Here you will be able to get a close look at the animals and plants that live undisturbed in this protected area and explore the inside of deep caves hidden in the mountains. Beware, for it is in these caves that traces of ancient predators from prehistoric times have been found...

Every Monday and Thursday: Departure in Barbian/Village Square at 9.30 am and return from parking lot Gasserhütte at 4.30 pm. Climbing is fun, not only for the children! On the climbing wall we train strength and agility in a completely playful way. But we also experience community and learn what it means to act in a self-determined way. By exposing ourselves to calculable risks, we experience success and failure and learn how to deal with them. The course is aimed at children from the age of 8 and adults. Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent!

What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. At the end, you can taste the honey products made on the premises.

Is it possible to ride lamas? What sounds do Lamas make? Why do Lamas spit? Every Thursday the farmers Günther and Michael with their faithful companions are waiting for you and your family and will answer your questions. You have the opportunity to make friends with the Lamas, to guide them, to feed them, to stroke their soft fur and to take a short walk with the fluffy animals. Who will find Fridolin's "treasure"? Every Thursday morning, different riddles tell you the way to the treasure. The kids and their family will be guided from clue to clue through Naturno and, if necessary, the adults will help with reading, writing or guessing. From the village square, we walk along the "Mitterweg" with our hiking guide Diego. Past the culture house, the trail leads through green meadows to Tanurza. We pass through some small groves with ditches (small Kneipp area) and reach, slightly uphill Tanurza (1182 m). From Tanurza we return to Laion via the mail trail, marked P. Along the way, nature and landscape guide and herb expert Diego Deiana will introduce you to the world of herbs. During the hike we will learn about the plants, discover their healing properties and how they can be used in cooking. 03 May - 09 June 2024 It is not an easy topic, but it is all the more important: the group of works ‘Drawing against forgetting’ by Austrian artist Manfred Bockelmann shows charcoal portraits of children and young people who were victims of National Socialist terror. With this series, Bockelmann wants to ‘bring the children back from the darkness’. He succeeds in doing so in a haunting way. The exhibition takes place in the building of ‘Emmas Bistro’ and marks the beginning of the series of events to mark the anniversary. 150 years ago, the community of La Val stood at a crucial crossroads: the decision to rebuild their church. It was a complex choice, since it meant building the new church on a different site, at Plan Morin, much closer to the majority of the population. However, such a decision also meant that the entire town centre had to be moved, including the cemetery, the presbytery, the school and the inns... Of course, not everyone was of the same mind. The community was divided by conflicting opinions and faced major challenges, both financial and labour. The stories, both grand and intimate, linked to this undertaking are meticulously documented and brought to life through a theatrical presentation that recounts and pays tribute to the founding of the town centre right up to the present day.
