Consequently, on the 9th of July, Freud sets off from Karlsbad, where he was staying to recover from a bout of 'American colitis', and joins his family at Klobenstein. Manuela Parth, hiking guide and mountain rescuer with the South Tyrol Mountain Rescue Service, will show you the most important basics of first aid and how you can help yourself and others in an emergency. What can you expect? - The right equipment: what to pack in your backpack? - First aid basics - Practical exercises - Interesting facts from the mountain rescue service: insights into the work of the mountain rescuers and helpful tips for hikes and outdoor activities.

During a herbal walk, we learn about the most important local plants and their uses. We then make a tincture and an oil extract with plant material under instruction. We then use these extracts to make various products together (e.g. lip balm, insect bite roller, ointment ...). Afterwards, the participants can take home 1 product of each of the treasures they have made (with the corresponding instructions for production and recipe). We propose cooking lessons based on simple ingredients. You can learn about our traditional Ladin cooking linked to local traditions. In a few hours, you can learn to cook and finally enjoy some Ladin specialities. The cook speaks Italian and German. This climbing wall on Passo delle Erbe, , reached after a short walk, ist the ideal pla- ce for first attemps in a rock face. Our qualified mountain guides guarantee safety and fun. The original South Tyrolean apple strudel is baked together with the farmer's wife of the 737-year-old Schildhof farm - with shortcrust pastry and without pine nuts. The ingredients, tricks and tips will be explained. A nut strudel made from yeast dough is also made together.
