Holidays in Toblach/Dobbiaco

The gateway to the Dolomites with the crystal clear Toblacher See lake

Toblach, the cultural centre of the Hochpustertal valley and gateway to the Dolomites, is located amidst two nature parks at the entrance to the wildly-romantic Höhlensteintal valley. Even Gustav Mahler was impressed by the inspiring and almost unreal beauty of the region, the small house of musical creation can be viewed on holiday here. As clear as glass and shimmering in blue and green, the Toblacher See lake at the beginning of the valley both inspires movement and invites holidaymakers to relax. Further highlights include events like the cross-country ski race Tour de Ski, the balloon festival, and the Gustav Mahler music weeks.
