FrühlingsSchmaus & Pflanzentausch - Spring Feast & Plant Swap

On May 9, the Town Hall Square in Tisens will turn into a meeting place for food lovers and hobby gardeners. From 8:30 a.m., visitors can enjoy a breakfast featuring almost exclusively 0-km products such as honey, bread, cold cuts, cheese, and much more. This means that everything offered has been produced either within the municipality of Tisens or by its residents.

At the same time, a plant exchange market will take place, where plants can be brought, swapped, or taken home.
A market with local products will also give visitors the opportunity to buy directly from local producers.

Those who prefer just a small treat can stop by the coffee and cake stand run by the altar servers or enjoy traditional Krapfen prepared by the local farmers’ women.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Tisens Youth Band.
The event will take place in all weather conditions.

The committee consists of seven representatives from various associations and institutions within the municipality. Its task is to support and promote initiatives in the village.

South Tyrolean Farmers’ Women Organization – Local Group Tisens
Founded in 1998, it currently has more than 200 members. The organization works to strengthen the role of farmers’ women in agriculture, society, and politics, while promoting education, traditions, and sustainable development in rural areas.
