A tradition passed down through generations: the Kirchtag Festival!
The local Schützenkompanie warmly invites you to the traditional Kirchtag Festival. Enjoy typical festive dishes such as crispy roast chicken, hearty grilled sausages, cold beer, and fine wine – all accompanied by live music.
A true highlight is the raising of the "Kirchtagmichl": with great enthusiasm and teamwork, he is mounted onto the "Mussl" (a large wooden pole) and lifted from a horizontal to a vertical position. Afterwards, the celebration continues – but with a guard posted! The boys from the neighboring village are always eager to steal him...
