This pleasurable festival on the Barbian fairground begins at 19.30. Musical entertainment will be provided by the "Barbmener Böhmische" and the "Jugendkapelle". The Barbian Tourist Association and the Barbian Music Band cordially invite everyone and look forward to your coming.

Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. On Wednesday, 17 August, starting at 17:00, the traditional church consecration festival will take place at the old parish church in Algund village. In addition to music, food and drink, locals and guests can also try their luck at the pot luck. The Algund Volunteer Fire Brigade looks forward to seeing you there.

The musical summer evenings in Burgeis! Every Wednesday evening this summer you can once again look forward to the Burgeis concerts. Let the evening come to a cosy end on the village square. The band The legendary St. Pauls Tschäss Bänd will provide the right atmosphere! The Tabaratta Sheep & Goat Breeders' Association will provide you with drinks and Marendbrettl for the small appetite and a good atmosphere. Come and join us!

Wine represents the "fil rouge" running through Caldaro. In his honour and for decades now, the local band "Bürgerkapelle Kaltern", has been celebrating the popular "Kalterer Weinfest". Four consecutive evenings in the mid of August, during which Via delle Cantine transforms itself into a wonderful open-air party: a lot of music, traditional specialties such as "Strauben", meat and pasta dishes and of course, Caldaro's renowned wine are main features of this event. For the village of La Villa, this festival is one of the highlights of the summer. After the Holy Mass in the church you can look forward to culinary specialities, live music and of course the traditional parade at 2.30 p.m. with Ladin costumes, music bands and floats. A festival that you should not miss! During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

Church festival in Lana di Sotto/Niederlana, procession at 9.00

Every year in Italy, the feast of Ferragosto, is celebrated on the 15th of August. The holiday refers to the Assumption of Mary into heaven and marks the hottest day of summer and is thus also considered the „turning point of summer “. The feast day begins with a High Mass at 09.00 a.m. in the parish church of Ortisei, during which the traditional consecration of medicinal herbs and flowers takes place. After the Holy Mass there is a folkloristic procession in the pedestrian area of Ortisei. The day will be musically framed by the alpine horns „Ladinia“ at 10.00 a.m. along the pedestrian area. At 9.30 p.m. there will be the concert with the "Merano Pop Symphony Orchestra" in the town centre.

The procession will be in Ehrenburg/Casteldarne at 8:30 am. From 11:00 a.m. music concert.

In the heart of summer, the village celebrates good weather with a special event. The San Vigilio Music Band will perform a concert, followed by a raffle with prizes. A perfect opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere, meet the local community and spend moments of joy and conviviality. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase in all San Vigilio shops.

The small village of Rina is preparing to celebrate Ferragosto (August 15th). You will be able to enjoy the tasty dishes of the local tradition, accompanied by the music of the music band of Rina, which will offer an engaging concert, with a mix of traditional music and pop and modern adaptations. It will be a true village festival, in a small town in the heart of the Dolomites.

Patronal festivity at the fairground in Oberbozen. Every year on August 15, the Oberbozen music band organizes this traditional and widely known event. The day begins with a Mass at 8.30 a.m. followed by a procession and blessing of herbs at Maria Himmelfahrt. Brunch starts at 11 a.m. at the festivity ground with music by the band. In the afternoon, at 2 p.m., the band invites you to the themed parade. Different music bands of South Tyrol accompany the parade, as well as Rittner alphorn musicians, folk dance group, “Goaßlschnöllern”, horse riders. In the evening live music and dancing

Participants wear traditional costumes and perform dances and typical music along the streets of Selva. It's an occasion to celebrate cultural heritage and experience the hospitality of the region.
