The diversity of street food cuisine is back in town. At the FOOD FESTIVAL BRIXEN. Food trucks, passionate and amateur chefs will meet in the Rappanlagen facilities of Brixen and create high-quality food. The event is accompanied by a 3-day musical programme. The little ones will be entertained with a varied children's programme. Pleasure for the palate, ears and eyes is guaranteed.

San Candido Celebrates: Three Days of Music, Flavors, and Fun for Everyone It’s that special time again: the beloved “Innichner Maktlfest” returns this year – as tradition dictates, every two years – and promises an unforgettable weekend for young and old alike. From Friday evening to Sunday, the center of San Candido will transform into a lively festival village, featuring 16 associations from San Candido, Versciaco, and Prato Drava, all ready to offer a rich and varied program. The official opening is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. Musical performances in a variety of genres – rock, pop, and traditional music – will take turns on four different stages. Among the featured bands are Vollgas, The Jam’sons, One Night Band, and the Jungböhmische Pichl. Don’t miss the nightclub in the basement of the Josef Resch House, where electrifying beats will keep the party going late into the night. The festivities continue on Saturday, starting in the morning with a concert by the Sankt Florian music band at the pavilion, during a tasty brunch organized by the San Candido music band’s stand. In the evening, the musical program picks up energy again, with performances by Tiroler Wind, 4krnyer, Die Woazgruiba, and Queen Laurin, all ready to get everyone dancing and singing. Sunday will be all about music and families. The Family Counseling Center (Elki) and the Family Association will offer a rich children’s program featuring puppet theater, games, and plenty of fun. Musically, the day will bring even more special highlights.

The Reschenseelauf / Giro Lago di Resia: a running experience like no other! On 12 July 2025, the picturesque Lake Reschen will be transformed into a spectacular running track. With almost 4,000 participants, the Reschenseelauf / Giro Lago di Resia is one of the biggest running events in the Alps. The 15.2km course offers breathtaking views of the largest artificial lake in South Tyrol and the majestic mountains surrounding the Ortles. Runners, Nordic walkers, handicapped and children are divided into different categories and receive a fantastic starter pack including refreshments, lunch and a free massage. At the finish line everyone gets a finisher gift and a certificate. 2025 will be a very special year for the Reschenseelauf / Giro Lago di Resia: To celebrate its 25th anniversary, there will be a spectacular night run! The race won't start at 17:00 as usual, but at 21:30 in front of the historic church tower. Over 1,000 torches will light up the track around the lake. The Parish of Lengmoos celebrates its anniversary on Saturday with an organ concert by organist Nikita Gasser at 8.30 p.m., Afterwards, a toast will be held in the church square, with voluntary donations.

The South Tyrolean Whipcracking (‘Goaslschnöller’) Association invites you to the Whipcracking Championship. Whipcracking will be performed in groups of 2, 3 or 4, and judged on posture, volume and timing. The loud whipcrack sound has been used by South Tyrolean herdsmen to drive cattle for centuries. However, whipcracking was also a means of communication over long distances on the alpine pastures, for example to communicate when food was ready or someone was injured. Today, it’s used at religious events, village and alpine festivals, parades and Alpine cattle drives to keep the old tradition alive. The 25th anniversary of Goaßlschnöller Villnöss valley is also celebrated. Followed by an after show party in the tent.

Race day isn’t just about running – it’s also about celebrating! From 10:00 a.m. onwards, the summer festival in Tiers invites you to relax, cheer and enjoy the day to the fullest. The local music band from Tiers will treat you to delicious regional food and drinks. Live music kicks off with Schlernblech, bringing good vibes and great sounds. Later, the Bergdiamanten take over and keep the party going into the afternoon. From Saturday to Sunday the traditional summer festivity of the music band of Nova Ponente takes place. Food, drink and entertainment are well provided.

A tradition: the fair day festival! A local club organizes a typical feast with roast chicken, delicious sausages, beer and wine and local music. The highlight is the “Kirchtagmichl” (puppet) attached to a tree trunk drawn in a vertical position. It takes several hours! During the night, the Kirchtagmichl must be guarded. The World Bodypainting Festival (WBF) is coming to Sterzing / Vipiteno in South Tyrol! For 28 years, the World Bodypainting Festival (WBF) has been the most important event in the international bodypainting scene. The only World Award event in 2025 will be the Camouflage Bodypainting category, taking place on July 12 and 13, 2025, in Sterzing. For many years, this competition has celebrated the art of optical illusion, where artists masterfully blend painted bodies into their surroundings. The growing enthusiasm for this category has led to an expansion to a two-day competition, giving more artists the chance to showcase their talents. The picturesque alpine town Sterzing, provides the perfect setting for this event. With its historic alleys, medieval towers, and breathtaking mountain landscapes, the town transforms into an open-air gallery. The peaceful atmosphere allows artists to fully focus on their craft, while visitors can enjoy a unique and immersive experience.Starting July 10, 2025, special side events, including workshops and networking gatherings, will help prepare participants for the competition and foster creative exchange. Your adventure week on the 3 Countries Enduro Trails! The main part of this week is spent exploring the region on the bike. Trained guides teach boys and girls aged 11 to 15 many tips and tricks in open terrain and on single trails. Among other things, trail basics such as balancing correctly, braking, riding on and over steps, climbing and descending, etc. are refined during this week and what is learned is put into practice on the 3 Länder Enduro Trails. In addition to the 3 country enduro trails, you can expect other great activities such as a first aid course, trail building and a bike workshop.

There won't be a dry eye in the house - the "Vollmond" - Band's show promises top musical enjoyment combined with an attack on the laugh muscles. Also taking part is the show entertainer Sax Martl - known for his appearances at the Munich Oktoberfest. There are always guest appearances by local musicians and groups.

Summer evenings in Schenna: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. Shop opening hours in the evenings: 8pm to 9:30pm.

The musical summer evenings in Burgeis! Every Wednesday evening this summer you can once again look forward to the Burgeis concerts. Let the evening come to a cosy end on the village square.
