Thanks to its exposed and central position, the Pic mountain is a unique panoramic mountain that can be scaled without much effort. Also, the Sëurasas mountain is considered a real jewel among insider.

Along the 1.5 km trail, you will find a beautiful viewpoint with a detailed description of the mountains to be seen.

Mini golf or goofy golf is a precision sports, but a match doesn’t necessarily need to be taken too serious. The main point is that you have fun, and that is almost guaranteed on the mini golf lanes of Monte Pana.

Due to its exposed position, Mont Pic is a wonderful panoramic mountain with views of the Sella, Sassolungo and Alpe di Siusi.

The Minert Riding Stable - Horse Love at First Sight

We’ve been in operation since the summer of 2022 and offer a wide range of activities for all horse lovers, whatever the season.

Enthusiasm for horses often starts at a very early age, so we give our youngest guests, from around 2 years old, the chance to have their first playful contact with horses. They get to groom and look after our ponies and horses in a safe environment and let them experience their first guided pony rides and attempts at riding. Pony time for the little ones can also take place in the company of their parents or in groups. Besides riding, there’s plenty of cuddling, playing, and child-friendly learning about horses with lots of fun, games and exercise.

Of course we also offer riding lessons for teenagers and adults (individually and in small groups), as well as unforgettable trailrides (for advanced riders) in beautiful natural surroundings, up to the Alpe di Siusi or Seceda. Whether training or relaxation, there is something for everyone!

Our balanced and well-trained westernhorses offer so much more than just riding. From vaulting to playful, therapeutic riding for children and young people with special needs and disabilities (including mobility impaired children) to ground work and horsemanship courses, horse-themed birthday parties, pony walks, professional photo shoots, colt starting and horse boarding (holidays with your own horse), there is something for everyone.

We take great pride in our approach to horse keeping, focused first and foremost on the well-being of our four-legged friends (Haflinger, American Quarter Horses, Appaloosa and Shetland ponies). To us, mindfulness, respect, and appreciation are simply a very important part of the horse world.

Our facility (an official ENGEA member) is only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Ortisei and has a 25x50m riding arena with a wonderful view of the Sella Massif, a round pen, bright 3.5x3m stalls, as well as spacious paddocks.

The path is peppered with various adventure stations using natural products. Ideal entertainment for childeren and parents alike. The unique backdrop sets the tone for the whole walk and guarantees a fun time surrounded by nature for all the family.

The walk through the village lets you discover S. Cristina's different sights and landmarks. One of them is the Romanesque-Gothic styled church of S. Cristina, which was first mentioned in 1342. Moreover you can walk passed life-size bonze figures, the world's biggest hand-carved crib, a children's playground and two waterfalls. The Raida dl luech is the ideal path to get to know the town of S. Cristina.

The Toboggan run (3 km) starting from the mountain station of the new funicular Resciesa in Ortisei offers a great experience for the whole family. As there is an intermediate station, it is possible to enjoy the run several times in row. Alternatively you can reach the Resciesa hut within a thirty minute walk starting from the mountain station. From there, you can sledge along the slope and you will connect then to the toboggan run.
All those who don't have a sledge can rent one at the valley station of the funicular.

On the Rocks is a bike shop and rental with a specialized workshop, as well as an MTB school that offers guided tours and technical courses in the Dolomites area.

Next up is the Dolomites World Heritage Cinema, where you can marvel at the stunning scenic view on the unique mountains of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Puez Odle Nature Park and the imposing Sassolungo and Sassopiatto. You can also use a telescope (or do without one) to see every summit, then comparing it with the wood carved mountains created at the S. Cristina workshops.

The alpenglow is a typical phenomenon of the Dolomites, in which the Dolomite peaks turn red, orange or pink during sunset.
This phenomenon is more likely to happen on clear autumn days.

The starting point for this beautiful hike is the Costamula farmstead towards Mount Seceda, and it is one of the oldest farms in Val Gardena. The first section of the hike, which takes you up to the Nudrei farmstead, is the steepest, but don't let this discourage you. Further on you will reach the middle station of the 'Furnes' cable car, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view. The hike continues to the left until you reach the Cuecenes stream, where you can also take a regenerating and refreshing break along the stream. On the way back you pass a private hut and descend to Martin, from where you can take the local bus back to Ortisei.

The trail starts near the valley station of the Col Raiser cable car in S. Cristina and winds through the woods above Cristauta. Along the way, accessible from directions, there are five information stations, each dedicated to a different bird species in Val Gardena. Each station features a wooden sculpture, handcrafted by a master sculptor from Val Gardena, and offers interesting facts about the habits, lifestyle and characteristics of each species. You can hear the bird’s calls by scanning the board’s QR code, making the experience even more engaging.
