Our cuisine is known for combining the technique of traditional cooking with the flavours of local ingredients. We are known for our meat cooked in a Catalan oven using charcoal. The authenticity of our game is on everyone's lips. The faithful sense of belonging to the land is expressed in every form in the numerous culinary proposals available to our guests. The charm of the location also helps to enhance the organoleptic characteristics of the dishes, embracing diners in warmth and authenticity.

The name Mauriz was already mentioned in 1752 in a sales agreement. At that time, the Mauriz was used as a stable of the inn Morizen “Mauriz”, which belonged to the Sanoner family. Josef Anton Sanoner emigrated to France and came back only at the beginning of 1810. He bought the whole estate and called the inn “Adler”. In 1903 Johann Babtist Sanoner enlarged the inn and added walls to the wooden building. In the stable, which had beautiful cross vaults, there were many horses, which were used by the guests for riding tours and for coach tours. In 1985 a part of the wooden scaffolding of the interior construction and the old cross vaults, under which you are sitting now, were saved from demolition. The old wood was used for the interior decoration of the disco “Mauriz”. We have rented the building in 2003 and, with a lot of effort and particular attention to detail, have turned it into the restaurant and pizzeria Maurizkeller. A meeting point for house guests, passers-by and the curious. The original Viennese coffee house was a meeting place for writers and artists and is still an integral part of Viennese culture today. At La Cort My Dollhouse, this coffee house tradition has been revived and presented in a modern, innovative style. An oasis of peace and calm for relaxed company and conversation or for reading and dreaming. While away the hours in our comfortable armchairs with a magical view of the outdoors. Every day, from lunchtime into early evening, we serve coffee from the best roasters, high-quality organic teas and freshly prepared homemade cakes.

E-Quattro is a small, family-run pizza laboratory. The special flours we use have different milling methods and therefore our pizza is light and easily digestible. We are very careful in the choice of our ingredients. Genuine eating is our effort, try us!

The rifugio Vicenza is located in the hearth of the Sassolungo group, from where you can admire the wonderful view. The restaurant offers traditional and home made dishes. Open all day.

We have a nice terrace and a second floor where you can eat or drink something! In the morning we serve a nice breakfast and a good coffee. For lunch you can try our special sandwiches, pizza, piadina, toast, salads and mixed cold plates. Afterwards you can enjoy our ice cream cups. And before dinner you can try our special aperitif. The kitchen team at the Ansitz Jakoberhof combine traditional farmer’s dishes of Val Gardena with Italian delicacy. It also prepares appropriate plates for guests with special diets or food allergies. While it’s only possible to choose delicious dishes from our restaurant menu at lunch time (between 12 – 14.00 pm) you may also take part at the daily 4 course dinner menu with salad and cheese buffet we serve our hotel guests in the evenings. A vast choice of wines on our wine list will round off the chosen dishes and give you the best experience.

You get this and more while hiking in Val Gardena to the Curona Hut at the foot of the Geisler, in the realm of the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE DOLOMITES. The quaint alpine Curona Hut invites you to relax in the sunshine and offers you an amazing view into the far reaches of the Dolomites. Enjoy a nourishing meal after an exciting or demanding excursion in our traditional alpine hut and let yourself be overcome by the smell of wood. We offer tasty dishes of local cuisine and snacks for in between and you can choose from a large selection of excellent wines. In winter the hut is ideally situated in the skiing area and directly on the downhill ski slope from Seceda to Ortisei, "La Longia". The Pauli Hut is located on the slope “La Longia” from Seceda to Ortisei. You can reach us in 10 minutes from the valley station of the Seceda cable car. Grilled food and traditional South Tyrolean dishes till 4p.m. Après Ski.

Mesc da Paratoni farm is set at an altitude of 1,585 metres above sea level, high above the sunny slopes of St. Christina. Wonderful views of the surrounding Dolomites may be enjoyed from here. This listed farmhouse has been refurbished to a high standard and made accessible to the public as an inn both historical dining rooms invite guests to enjoy typical Ladin specialities. Prior reservation required.
