Niedermairhof farm is situated high above Kastelbell on the side of the Trumsberg mountain. From its sun terrace you can enjoy fantastic views down and across Vinschgau valley and into Martelltal valley and inside there are two cosy and inviting wood-panelled farm parlours. The Kaserer family’s many home made products will turn ordinary meals into a real treat. Open from 1st April to 20th December. Thursdays closed. From 15th June to 15th August closed Thursdays and Sundays. Orders in advance required for evening meals.

A very warm welcome to the Unterötzbauer! Our farmhouse tavern is located in the middle of vineyards and orchards. On the sun terrace you can enjoy spectacular views of the spa town of Meran and the surroundings. We will be delighted to serve you with our home-made wine and typical South Tyrolean specialties.

First mentioned in records in 1379, Fronthof farm is the largest fully-preserved farmhouse in South Tyrol built on a steep slope from stone and is something special. The old, panelled dining rooms provides the ideal setting for special occasions and makes a great stopping point after a walk along the 'Oachner Höfeweg' Farmstead Trail. Open from March to May on Sundays at midday, in July, August and September from Tuesday to Thursday from midday to 11.00 pm, in August also on Sundays at midday, in October and November from Wednesday to Sunday from midday to 11.00 pm. Advance booking recommended.

The Alpine Star hut is located at 2,045 m above sea level in the middle of the Schlern-Rosengarten nature park. The tranquility of nature, the magnificent all-round panorama of the fascinating mountains of the Dolomites and the lake make this place special. The Alpine Star hut is easily accessible by foot, by mountain bike or by horse-drawn carriage. You can reach the hut on hiking trail number 7 from Compaccio. It takes about 1 hour. We are closed when the weather is bad, as we only have tables and seats outside.

The Luggin family has set up an interesting farm inn at St. Nikolaus near Kaltern, a local place of pilgrimage. You can reach the rustic cellar via the farm shop with its numerous farm products and enjoy South Tyrolean farm dishes with a glass of wine, fruit juice or spirits from the farm's own organic distillery. Open from mid-March to start of December from Wednesday to Saturday after 5.00 p.m. Booking recommended.

Zmailer Hof farm looks out from the Schennerberg mountainside over the Meran valley basin and across to the Etsch river valley. It is the ideal destination for a mountain walk. Parts of the old farmhouse, such as the kitchen, hallway and pretty frescoes at the entrance to the house are under listed building protection. Guests can enjoy the tasty house specialities on the sun terrace or in the cosy farmhouse parlour. The excellent fruit juices are a treat not to be missed. Open daily from mid-March until the end of November. Closed on Fridays.

Burgerhof farm stands out thanks to its two cosy dining rooms and fantastic views of the Brixen valley basin. Organic farming methods have held great importance here for over 30 years. Guests can look forward to seasonal dishes, with a menu that changes every week, delicious organic wines as well as tender meat from the farm's own herd. Open from mid-September until the second weekend in December as well as from the start of April until the mid of June. Hours: Saturdays from midday and Sundays from 12.00am to 3.00pm. In autumn, open on Thursdays and Fridays from 6.00pm. Open in the evenings by reservation only. For the rest of the year we are happy to accept reservations above 20 guests on request.

On Tuesdays, we take a little break, but on all other days of the week, we warmly welcome you.

The historic Lafogl farm is situated in a fantastic location just below Castelrotto/Kastelruth. It features four cosily furnished holiday apartments with space for two to four people. The daily "bread roll service" and the breakfast basket with tasty farm products, which the Rier family will bring to your door every morning if you wish, will get you ready for your adventures in the Alpe di Siusi/ Seiser Alm hiking and winter sports paradise. The Lafogl farm is also a traditional “buschenschank”. With lots of love and passion, farmer Regina prepares all delicacies from scratch and completely by hand. Our farmhouse tavern, which is in a sunny spot at the heart of Tirolo, is the perfect place to recharge your batteries and enjoy a bite to eat. Look forward to meeting good company over a glass of our home-made wine, plus a hearty Marende, a traditional snack of cold meat, cheese and bread on a wooden board. Our playground offers plenty of fun for our younger guests. Whilst your children let off steam to their hearts' content, you can make the most of the peace and quiet and the view from our terrace!

This listed farmhouse is situated north of Brixen, between Vahrn and Neustift, at the foot of a steeply sloping vineyard. It once belonged to the so-called Mairhöfen and provided income for the bishop. Today it is here to spoil you with a drop of its home-produced wine and tasty dishes. The farm in also offers wine tastings (booking required). From 12th September until 3rd December open from Wednesday to Sunday from 12 noon. From 4th December until 6th January open from Friday until Sunday from 12 noon. Advance booking required.

"Gostnerhof farm in Barbian is on the sunny side of the Eisack river valley. Guests can enjoy savouring original Eisack valley farmhouse fare amidst colourful vineyards beneath the rays of the autumn sun. Two cosy farmhouse parlours invite guests to sit and get stuck into some delicious culinary treats. We have a large children’s playground for kids to play around in. Open from mid September to beginning of December from 16.00 to 24.00 every day. On weekends open from 12.00. Booking recommended. Open from the beginning of March to the end of May at weekends to advance order. Farmhouse brunch from 9.00 a.m. to advance order on Saturdays and Sundays from February to May."

The inn is situated in the idyllic hamlet of Glen, surrounded by gently sloping vineyards. The terrace, shaded by a 100-year-old chestnut tree, is a good place to relax and unwind. The hosts also serve delicious dishes from the farm kitchen in the two cosy farm dining rooms.
