The traditional craft market in Kastelruth takes place in the summer months of July and August.
It takes place every Wednesday in the village square and offers a variety of traditional handicrafts and, but also artisan products such as woodwork, glasswork, leather goods and much more. There are also a number of artisans offering handmade jewelry, ceramics and other handcrafted products.

In his presentation "Magical Dolomites", Fabian Dalpiaz presents a selection of his most beautiful and magical photographs and short films that bring the magic of the Dolomites to life. He will tell you what is so special about his work and how he made it all the way to London and Florida with his photographs of the starry sky above the Dolomites. The event will be presented in German and Italian.

The sunrise on the mountain is a magnificent natural spectacle and an unforgettable experience! Most of the way uphill is by shuttle, followed by an early morning hike to the Kreuzjoch viewing platform. You will be rewarded with a spectacular sunrise and a unique panoramic view. Afterwards, you can look forward to a delicious mountain breakfast on the mountain pasture.
Tour route: Shuttle bus to the Vöraner Alm - hike to the Kreuzjoch - breakfast at a mountain hut - hike to Hafling village

This hike at the foot of the Latemar invites you to explore the diversity of nature with its flowers and herbs. Hiking guide Irene Eder will lead the group through the stunning landscape with expert knowledge, planning a pleasant stop at a mountain hut in the region around lunchtime. Along the way, participants will learn fascinating facts about the healing properties of herbs, trees, and flowers, as well as their uses. At the heart of this relaxing hike are traditional recipes and a sense of well-being surrounded by nature.
Route: Obereggen, ascent by chairlift – Trail No. 22 – Mayrl Alm – return along the Latemar.Natura path to the Oberholz mountain station and descent by chairlift to Obereggen.

The Radlsee refuge is located high above the Eisack Valley on the legendary Radlsee lake in the basin between the Königangerspitze and Hundskopf peaks. On the way, we learn a lot about alpine herbs, mountain farming and the formation of the Alps and Dolomites. The moderately difficult hike is worthwhile with its breathtaking mountain panorama and relaxing tranquillity on the mountain.
Route: Via hiking trail no. 14 and no. 10 to the Radlseehütte, same way back
Start: 9.30 am Kühhof car park, hiking bus possible, walking time approx. 5 hours, basic fitness required, height difference 850 m, return at 4.30 pm P. Kühhof. Minimum number of participants: 2 persons.

Our journey takes place by taxi, which brings us to the Huberkreuz parking in Barbiano. From there, we start our hike, which takes us with a gentle ascent through the picturesque landscape to the mountain pine oil distillery. Upon arrival, we are greeted with a guided tour where we learn about the traditional production techniques and gain fascinating insights into the world of mountain pine. After a well-deserved break, we return to our starting point.
