Today we get out in nature! On our exciting voyage of exploration we visit the fruit tree meadow at the Koasa Hof in St. Johann. Delicious fruits such as apples, pears and plums grow there and we’ll discover how to make jam, juice and apple rings from them. Maybe we’ll even get to taste some ourselves! As well as fruit trees, there are also some small animals on the farm – for example chickens and rabbits. Together we’ll find out how to harvest and process fruit and how important nature is for our food. So pack your rucksack and bring a good mood with you – and let’s have a fruity adventure!

The trail climbs steeply in serpentines to the Rosszahnscharte. From there it is only a few minutes to the Tierser Alpl refuge, where we take our lunch break. The way back is via the “Bärenloch”. The path is steep at the beginning, secured in places with wire ropes. Further down, the trail then leads through the Tschamin valley to Weißlahnbad. South Tyrol is renowned worldwide for its majestic mountains, clear Alpine lakes and idyllic walking trails. Starting from the Winnebachtal car park (1,412 metres), we will make our way into the valley along the slightly ascending path that leads to the Astnerberg Alm pasture. From that point, the path gets steeper until we reach the waterfall, where a gentler section starts. This is followed by another ascent of medium difficulty to the Tiefrastenhütte hut and lake, where we will be welcomed by a staggering panorama that will make us forget all the effort. The way back is along the same route. Refreshment points: Tiefrastenhütte hut, Astner Bergalm hut Total walking time: approx. 4 hours, covering a distance of 10 km and 900 metres of elevation gain. The journey begins, by taking the public bus to Ortisei. Our tour begins with a funicular ride up to the Resciesa (2,200m). From the mountain station, we follow trail no. 35 to the Brogles Hut (2,054m). Behind the hut, the trail merges into the Adolf-Munkel-Trail. At the foot of the Sas Rigais, we continue until we reach the Odle Mountain Hut (1,996m). After a well-deserved and leisurely break, we descend comfortably to Ranui (1,350m). Consequently, on the 9th of July, Freud sets off from Karlsbad, where he was staying to recover from a bout of 'American colitis', and joins his family at Klobenstein. This is where the Freuds celebrate their silver wedding anniversary, on 14th September - the enjoyment of their holiday thus being enhanced by love and affection. Minimum of participants: 6, max 12 persons. At the Ansitz Waldgries Manor, in the middle of the famous wine-growing area of S. Maddalena, viticulture has a long tradition. Waldgries was first mentioned in a document in 1242. Today Christian Plattner leads the wine estate with enthusiasm and success in the 3rd generation and gives his wines a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. Unique is the wine path "Zeit in Waldgries", where the visitor learns a lot of interesting facts about the winery and the daily work. At the end of the artistically designed path, the visitor is rewarded with a magnificent view of the city of Bolzano and the surrounding castles.

Experience the nature park in Ötzi's footsteps The children hike with the nature park rangers from the Vernagt meeting point into the Tisental valley in the Texel Group Nature Park. This is where Ötzi, the famous glacier man, travelled 5,300 years ago. We will look for traces of animals that are characteristic of the forest and mountain areas and try to observe them with binoculars. We will identify plants, herbs and minerals and consider what this area might have looked like around 5,000 years ago. A playful and exciting search for answers can begin! The ranger days are aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 12 and participation is free of charge!

The Kingdom of Fanes retains all its fairy-tale charm. Thanks to the amazing karst phenomena, you can walk amongst enchanting sculptures carved by water into the rock. There are also expanses of mountain pines, spectacular streams, lakes and pastures. This paradise has it all, including marmots and chamois grazing in the summer sun. Got your backpack ready? Ride the chairlift up to the Haunold/Baranci. From there we go in search of the giant Haunold and can explore his kingdom at various stations. The hike then continues across the Schmiedelwiesen to the Wildbad and its various water sources. In the tranquillity of nature we learn many secrets of the forest as well as various forms of relaxation such as walking barefoot, treading water and relaxation exercises. Discover the numerous, often inconspicuous herbs by the wayside with our expert and learn all about their healing power and effects on our herb & water walk. At the same time familiarise yourself with the different forms and possibilities (there are over 120!) for partaking of the famous Kneipp cure. Father Sebastian Kneipp’s water therapy gets the metabolism and circulation moving and demonstrably strengthens the body’s defences. In addition, it also helps with numerous chronic illnesses and nervous complaints such as headaches, migraines, sleep disorders, allergies, stubborn infections, stomach and bowel problems, and inner turmoil. The place and setting where the findings of Father Kneipp are put into practice is as special and impressive as the treatments themselves and the effect of the herbs and plants.

Early in the morning, we set off with Margareth on a sunrise hike. Meeting point is at the large hiking map near the Gasserhütte – from there we begin our walk to reach the Toten Kirchl in time for sunrise. At the top, a peaceful and impressive atmosphere awaits, with wide views over the Villanderer Alm and the surrounding mountains. After hiking back down, we’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast together at a mountain hut. A start to the day that’s well worth it – for anyone who enjoys experiencing nature at its quietest and most beautiful.

The 8 summit march - a mountain tour of a special kind! This high alpine extreme tour covers 25 km and 3,000 metres in altitude. The route leads from the picturesque, medieval town of Glurns in the valley to the mountain peaks in the Stilfserjoch National Park. At each of the 8 summits you receive a stamp, which must be stamped on the start card. Only recommended for real mountain enthusiasts. This summer, visitors to Rosskopf can look forward to a truly extraordinary experience: sunrise concerts with a mountain breakfast at the Wishing Bell. In the magical atmosphere of early morning, guests are treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Stubai Alps. The adventure begins in the early hours, with the cable car transporting you from Sterzing to 1,860 metres above sea level. From there, accompanied by a hiking guide, you’ll ascend the final 350 metres on foot to the “Köpfl” to witness the sunrise over the Zillertal Alps and the Dolomites in the east. At the Wishing Bell, the sunrise concert welcomes the first rays of the new day in a magical atmosphere. A regional mountain breakfast completes the experience. Served high up at 2,120 meters, it is without doubt a truly unique highlight! A total of four concerts offer a great variety. The sunrise concerts begin on 27th of July with a performance by the civic chapel of Sterzing. The band "Elviras Kiss" will follow on 06 th of August, followed the band "Timbreroots" on the 10th August, Jimi Henndreck" on the 27th of August 2025.
